Macro photography. Perhaps one of the most fun things to do with photography.
That's why I bought myself macro rings from Meike for this purpose. For a good (read: expensive) lens I unfortunately do not have the budget. But these rings also do the job quite well.
Both photos were taken in my garden.

The photo of the bumblebee has taken some effort. It's hard to get such a creature to sit still in a photo. This one doesn't sit still for a second.
So speed was of the essence here.

The small salamander was fortunately a little easier. He posed nicely for a while in front of my lens.
And when he got tired after a while and became a bit restless, I put him back in the bushes.
