When we talk about Architecture, the one place that instantly pops on the mind is Italy, it's filled with historic architecture, not only historic but also a lot of contemporary architecture you will see in this place. Some of the modern day architecture is good, but still I do not find any character in it. The olden day architecture had a lot of life and character in it. That's what is the most attractive part of it.

This is the Duomo in Milan. From all that I have seen in the world I find this building the most attractive and a very fascinating building with intricate art work on it. It is the Cathedral Church of Milan dedicated to the Nativity of St. Mary (Santa Maria Nascente) and now it is also the seat of the Archbishop of Milan. The exterior is fascinating and breathtaking and the interiors is beauty beyond words. I wonder how did they make all of this in the times when there were no hi-tech equipment.

I do not think that any modern day architects can create a piece like this. It is a masterpiece and only one of a kind.
