Hello friends, today I will take you back in time a little bit. After the end of Covid, the impact of Covid made us unable to travel. Everything stopped. Trade, tourism, education had to be done online. The kids stayed at home and couldn't go to the places they wanted to go.
After everything started to ease, the government started to unlock various tourism measures to help the economy flourish again. My family and I started thinking about traveling and this was the first trip after Covid.
The place we went to was Bueng Chawak, located in Suphan Buri Province. It was built in the reign of King Rama IX for the 50th anniversary of his reign. There are many species of wild animals such as giraffes, leopard deer, dwarf cows, camels, sand deer, bears, and things that tourists can't miss in the zoo are the tiger and lion cages, the wildlife management development center and the large aviary, the chicken breeding center, the rabbit island, and a photo spot with animals.
There is also an aquarium exhibition with both freshwater and saltwater species. There is a freshwater fish exhibition building with more than 30 freshwater aquariums. The most outstanding thing is the first freshwater fish tunnel in Thailand, which is 8.5 meters long, and the saltwater fish exhibition building. Be amazed by going down the escalator under the 75-meter long water tunnel, which is full of saltwater fish such as rays and sea turtles. The highlight here is the shark tank, which has leopard sharks, blacktip reef sharks and large sand tiger sharks. There is also a freshwater crocodile pond, which is a place to raise more than 100 Thai crocodiles, ranging in length from 1.5 to 4 meters, along with a show area where people play with crocodiles.
Local Vegetable Park for Sustainability The Local Vegetable Park is under the care of the Department of Agricultural Extension. It is a place that brings more than 500 types of local vegetables to be planted together on an island in the middle of Bueng Chawak, arranged into a beautiful garden. Inside, there is an evaporative water planting system and demonstrations of soil-free planting, as well as demonstrations of gardening with local vegetables. There is also a shop selling local plant species for you to take home and plant.
