Young Amanita muscaria 's sprout have popped up thru the soil. While the mushroom has not yet revealed all its beauty and unfolded its hat, it looks like such an egg covered with tuberous outgrowths.

Coral fungus, commonly called as 'crown coral' or crown-tipped coral fungus. Scientific name is: Artomyces pyxidatus. This summer I found it for the first time ever, and was very happy about that, spent almost one hour taking different pics of them (there were several colonies on an old rotting trunk). Isnt it charming?

The mushrooms look so cool. I love blueberries. It's aroma is so enticing.
