If it weren't the off-season, there’s no way we could get a table at this restaurant in Yining. A local friend from Xinjiang's Ili region arranged for Cola, a lovely Gen-Z girl, to treat us to dinner. She reserved a table at the Anarhan Tea Restaurant on Yining's Six Star Street, right in the best spot for watching the live performances. After eating so much meat over the past few days in Xinjiang, we honestly couldn't handle any more. So we ordered dishes like Sichuan Pepper Fish, Hui-style Jiasa (stuffed buns), kebabs, and a dessert platter. Initially, I thought this trendy restaurant was all about aesthetics, but it turns out the food was excellent too!
