So it’s spring here now in the UK and we’re starting to get the odd really warm day. I have a really beautiful South facing balcony so it’s always quite a lot hotter than it is outside on the main street. Today was a really sunny day, T-shirt outside weather and I decided to use the opportunity to try and fix my balcony up ready for spring and make it a little oasis for me to sit outside and have my breakfast. I also have some vegetables that are coming already like some beetroot and potatoes and I even found some watercress that I threw in the soil. Last winter had sprouted. One of my lavender plants was also already in flower.
Inside of got lots of little seedlings getting ready to go outside like tomato, peppers, chilli, chard and tryint some white strawberries and blueberries too. I have to start early as it actually just gets too hot and things get scorched later in summer, including me! Lol
I then made myself some firey tempeh with greens from the biodynamic farm where I collect my spring water.
