Musk stressed that he is a bitcoin supporter and regretted not buying it eight years ago

Tesla CEO Elon Musk said in an interview with American social media Clubhouse: "Bitcoin is a good thing, so I am a supporter of Bitcoin."

Musk said that he had a share in bitcoin trading in 2013, and many of his friends have been trying to persuade him to buy and sell bitcoin for many years. He also said that he should have bought bitcoin at least eight years ago, and admitted that he was late in the feast of bitcoin transactions.

After Musk's remarks, bitcoin prices once rose by $600.

Musk believes that bitcoin is really going to be widely accepted in the traditional financial field.

Previously, Musk used to joke about Dogecoin (the second largest virtual currency after Bitcoin in terms of users), but he said it was just a joke. "The most ironic phenomenon is that dog money will become the currency of the earth in the future."

It is worth mentioning that after Musk changed his profile to "#bitcoin" on Twitter last Friday,bitcoinImmediately soared to more than $38,000, and once rose by 18%, hitting a high point in the past two weeks.

Earlier, Musk said that bitcoin structure is excellent, and virtual currency is more reliable than the currency issued by the central bank. He also revealed that he only holds 0.25 bitcoins, which was given by friends many years ago.
