VERIFICATION POST: MY LOVE TO TRAVEL @glenicelou27

Traveling is my escape to reality and my fantasy, hello there my steemian friends, I am Glenice Lou and this my first time posting in this community. I am eager to introduce myself and my travel experience.

Allow me to introduce myself..

INTRODUCTION

Glenice Lou from Cebu Philippines, currently connected to one of the public schools in my city. I joined steemit recently and I am still discovering the many features of this platform. Even though I just recently active here I was able to express myself freely without any judgement that is why I am very much thankful to steemit.

MY TRAVEL EXPERIENCE

The very first time I travel across islands of the Philippines, when I was 23 years old. I was very nervous because I was alone in the boat but my curiousity took place back then. I went to Negros Occidental . This travel is one of the most memorable trip I have been to, because I did not inform my family my whereabouts, I just told them that I am going somewhere for a week. One of the best thing about negros is the people in the province, they are too generous and kind even I was just a stranger to them. What makes this experience memorable? Well, the fact that I did not ask for permission and the struggle at the sea. I wish to go back but not to experience another turbulence in the ocean. hehe

At the young age, to explore our deepest desire is absolutely amazing, this time I booked a plane ticket to Camiguin Island. One of the islets in my country, but this islet is very interisting. It has 7 volcanos, 5 municipality, 1 sunken cemetery and a moving white island. Fortunately, I was able to visit all of the above but my favorite is Mt. Hibok-Hibok.
Here, is another story to tell but difenitely one of my favorite trips so far. I cannot ever fathom how I succesfully concquer the mountain on my first try, which lasted for 16 hours. Isn't it amazing. With this experience I learned that life is full of obstacles and we should not stop because either we are the bottom or at the middle, the best view is always on top. Another thing about this trip is my first time to ride an airplane, heheh it was amazing but I will never ride a plane again. Aside the turbulence my feeling was different inside, I felt like floating and stepping on the weakest platform. I don't want to do it again hehe.

My first travel by plane would not be complete without the presence of my friends, they were the ones who helped me all through out the booking process as well as the tour guide, accomodations and authorized letter from the city hall. They were my shining armour when I was nowhere to go when I was curious and williing to take risk. I wish to make more time to travel when the restrictictions are lifted to so many places in my country, when the pandemic is finally over I will surely visit Siargao, Baguio and Davao these places are on my first bucket list. How about you my steemian friends? Where do you wish to travel when everything is finally over? That would be all this time but I am so excited to share more about my other interisland journey..
