Let me introduce to you takoyaki, one of the best traditional food in Japan. In English, it is translated as "octopus balls". It's a rounded shape snack made from flour and better filled with a little slice of octopus. Topped with mayonnaise and takoyaki sauce. It is cooked in a special pan called a takoyaki pan.

The most popular takoyaki is in Osaka. It's even called the Soul of the City. However, it is served everywhere in Japan. In Tayoyaki restaurants, supermarkets, convenience stores, and by street vendors. It is also a very popular food during the summer festival.

My best takoyaki experience is at Poppo Restaurant located inside Piadou. One of the signature food is takoyaki. It has a special taste and texture that is fluffy which I enjoyed. The sauce and mayonnaise are also great and topped with generous bonito flakes. The depends on the number of takoyaki. It serves 6 pcs for as low as 300 yen (5 STEEM). It is served 5-10 minutes after the order. So I enjoyed the freshly made and hot takoyaki.
