"Welcome to my travel blog. Today I will bring you to Oirase Town. It is a beautiful town where the biggest Statue of Liberty in Japan is located. It's 15 km away from Hachinohe Station. You can ride a train for 430 yen (7.65 STEEM) to Shimoda Station. There are taxis surrounding the area. And it will take more or less 1250 yen (22.22 STEEM) to reach the Ichou Park. The complete address is Higashishimoyachi, Oirase, Kamikita District, Aomori."
During the spring season, the park is illumed by the transient beauty of cherry blossoms. The park is very spacious and adventurous. You can enjoy the uphill and downhill land.
Surroundings:
The park is planted with cherry blossoms, maples, Ginko trees, and various plants thatcould be enjoyed throughout the season.. A perfect place for hikes or jogging.
It has also encircled by a rlake where you can enjoy fishing and swans viewing during late winter.
Sports Facilities:
It has a basketball gymnasium that is free to use for all ballers. The gym has two basketball courts. However, you can also play volleyball. Just made your reservation.
Playground:
It has different playground equipment that can be enjoyed by kids. It is located in different parts of the park that can accommodate many children to use. The slides is long and unique that I didn't dare to try.
Statue of Liberty
This is the biggest Statue of Liberty in Japan. It was built because Oirase shares the same latitude with New York City (40.40 N). The height of the statue is 11.5 meters. Including its pedestal, it stands 20.8 meters tall. It is a 1/4 size of the original Statue of Liberty in New York City. I am very tiny when I took a picture with it. I also appreciated the bird's eye view of the Park.
Inchou Park has all the amenities that your family, friends, and loved ones can enjoy and experience.
An exciting and broad experienced. It was my first time going alone on a train outside Hachinohe. My Japanese skills were tested. Anyway, it's all basic. See you on my next blog.
