First of all i would like to great all of the member here in this community. Hi to all steemians. Good day to all.
This place called THE MARIA CRISTINA WATER FALLS,there is a story behind it. There were two girl name Marry and Cristine,they are playing , swimming in falls area,other people say that,this two girl was disappeared they said they caught an other creature,they called mythcal creature,but its along time ago. That is why they called it maria cristina falls. Before too many people going to visit the place,to take picture in the intire area,or even they swimming in the falls. But time,days,months,year passing by,they are not allowed the people to enter that area,they put fence all over the area only authorized person are allowed to go near at the falls. But they allowed to visit the area but not near the falls,maybe 150meters away from the falls,they allowed the visitor to enter and to take picture,that is why we have a time to visit na maria christina falls.

They make hydro electric power to supply the intire area of the Iligan city,even the town and barangay that part of the city.

There is alot of water falls in Iligan city,the maria christina water falls is the one of the beautiful falls here in Iligan city. That is why they called the city of water falls. This place is located at Buru-on Iligan city Lanao del Norte,Mindanao,Philippines. From the International airport in Laguindingan Misamis oriental,80kilometer to reached the place,if you will ride a private vehicle from the international airport it takes 2 hours to travel the place,but it depends on the traffic,much better early in the morning to go there .
