Introduction

Greetings to me fellow Steemians in the @steem-travellers community. I am happy to be participating in the first Contest ever since I subscribed to the community.
I will be sharing pictures of the major roundabout in the city of Akwanga in Nasarawa State of Nigeria in West Africa.
Before now a monument of the map of Nigeria was erected at this roundabout but was recently demolished by the statement government who intend to erect a better and more beautiful structure there as this is the heart of the Town.

This roundabout is special to me because it's four Cardinal points links to four different states in the country. It leads to Benue State (Makurdi), Kaduna State(Fadar karshi and Gwantu), Abuja - The Federal Capital Territory(FCT) and Plateau State (Jos)

This roundabout is the heart of the Town where a lot of business activities go on 24hours every day. You see do many hawkers, transporters, had stations and pharmacy shops situated around the place.

This round about always serves as a point of description to new comers entering the city for the first time and as travellers in this community if you want to visit my city with the presence of this round about your destination is rest assured. It serves as the travellers compass. The first time I was to visit The Northern part of Nigeria from the Eastern part this round about served as a guide that landed me safely to where I was going.
