Hello adventurers, My Trip My Adventure !

Greetings to all community members and stakeholders. I'm so glad I can get back to posting on this wonderful community page. I wish you all always in good health and protected by the almighty God.

In this post I want to review my trip and camp experience in Takengon. After college holidays we have free time to go on vacation. It's time to enjoy free time by taking a vacation to refresh.

After finishing the exam at the industrial job training test site, in the afternoon I immediately went to Takengon. In this trip we have 2 groups of teams. The first group had departed since the morning and we were the second group to follow in the afternoon.

The trip with my team amounted to 4 people. We left for Takengon in the afternoon by motorbike. The purpose of this trip is for adventure and camping on the shores of Lake Lut Tawar.

We took the route via Simpang Elak - Jalan KKA - Bener Meriah. A number of supplies and logistics have been prepared in the simple backpacks we have. Do not forget to check the condition of the motorcycle again.

The trip covers a distance of 3 hours by motorbike. It looked so tiring, because the track we took had difficult terrain and routes. Even though the road is paved, the motorbike ride looks very challenging.

The road route that passes through the hills and mountains of Gayo looks very difficult. Because we passed the route of ups, downs and some sharp turns. Weeds on the left and right side of the road also seemed to block our visibility.

The scenery around looks very beautiful and exotic with the cool air. Takengon is one of the prima donna of tourists every weekend. Because the area is located in the Gayo highlands, it offers stunning natural beauty.

In addition, the air and cool air also seem to be the main attraction for tourists. People can feel peace of mind when they are in this city. Takengon City is located in the central region of Aceh Province which has a border with Bener Meriah and Gayo Lues Regencies.

Geographically, the city of Takengon is right in the middle of the Aceh region in the highlands. This city has a beautiful natural tourist attraction and spoils the eyes. Another interesting side, this city has a lake that stretches up to hectares.

When we arrived in Takengon City, the cool air began to be felt. When visiting here, you should use a jacket. Jakit is an alternative to normalize your body temperature from the cool and cold air.

We arrived in the city at 6 pm, until the evening prayer. After fulfilling our obligations as Muslims, we contacted the first group who had been at the camp site. They had been setting up the tent since this afternoon.

To get to the campsite, we have to travel about 10 minutes. The campsite is in the Bintang area, close to the lake. The tent is ours which we brought ourselves.

On a beautiful afternoon, the sunset looks very charming with bright red and orange glows. The sound of birds singing and the silence of the universe began to be heard that afternoon. The location of the tent was set up right on the side of the lake.

The cold air began to be felt at night, we finally decided to light a fire. This campsite has a large yard area. The place provider provides stall rental to us which is calculated in the period of one night.

The cost of renting a stall is only around 15000 Rupiah per person. Another fee charged is a fee for vehicle parking security. If you rent a tent, you will be charged 10000 for one tent that fits 4 people.

In this camp area there is also a canteen where you can enjoy food and drinks. In addition, there are also other supporting facilities such as lighting, stage events, places of worship and toilets. To ensure safety, we parked the vehicle close to the tent.

That night, we enjoyed a meal and a hot caffeine drink that was brewed directly using a nest. We also bring tools for cooking in the form of medium-sized nesting. That will help us a little to cook rice and heat the water.

At night, it gets colder, need more than one jacket and sleep with thick blankets. Where when we are required to be able to adapt to a new environment. We lit a small bonfire to warm the body and burn the sausages.

We enjoyed the night until late, telling stories and having fun together with full of laughter. In front of us, the lake stretched out wide, starting to emit smoke and its cold air. The night was truly very quiet with the sounds of the natural universe.

From this campsite we can enjoy the beauty of the city and see the beautiful hotel buildings. The beam of light looks like this with the glare of light emanating from the lake. What a beautiful and happy night we have spent together until the morning comes.

Camping here gives the impression and experience that is quite pleasant. In addition to its natural beauty, this city also has friendly residents. To have fun, you are not allowed to get too excited, it is necessary to maintain and respect local customs, culture and wisdom.
