On Saturday I went to Takengon by motorbike train. My trip this time is to carry out a steem camp event. As I have made an announcement in my previous post that I will be holding a steem camp event on 29 to 30 January 2022.
In the afternoon on Saturday 29 January 2022 I took a trip to the city of Takengon. The journey from Lhokseumawe City via the Elak intersection takes up to three hours to get to the Campsite location. The Steem Camp event takes place on the Lut Tawar lake.
The location is right in the Ujung Mepar Satu Camping area, Kebayakan, Takengon. This campsite is one of the most popular campsites, every weekend it is always crowded with tourists from various cities. On that day almost more than 300 people attended the camp event which took place on Saturday-Sunday.
The Ujung Mepar Satu campsite is not far from the city center, about 6 minutes away by motorbike. Travel to the campsite through the village road on the edge of the lake. After a distance of 2 kilometers from the city, the journey will enter a mountainous area, where there are mountain cliffs on the left side of the road and a lake on the right. Entering this area the road looks deserted and is about 1 kilometer from residential areas.
During the trip I enjoyed the very natural and fresh mountain air, the air was cool and gave me peace. The campsite is on the right side of the road, leading to the shores of Lake Lut Tawar. To get to the campsite, I had to get off my motorbike with the downhill and steep terrain.
I got to the campsite at night and headed straight for the parking lot. More than 100 tents were set up near the Lut Tawar lake. This lake is one of the most popular lakes in Aceh and has historical value.
The scenery at this campsite is very beautiful where I can see the lake and mountains and the clouds that cover the top of the mountain. The air here is very cool, especially at night and in the morning. The water in the lake feels very cold and can make your body shiver.
At night, we light a bonfire to make the atmosphere warmer. This will help a little to make my body temperature more stable and not cold. So, the fire that night really helped us to carry out our activities at night.
In the evening we enjoyed dinner with a variety of menus. We provide dinner with grilled chicken menu. We also provide several other foods, such as roasted corn, snacks, and grilled somay accompanied by delicious coffee drinks. We spent time and had a great time that night after the presentation was over.
This campsite has a number of supporting facilities and a large camping area. Supporting facilities are such as toilets, where there are 4 bathrooms that can support your activities. Each 2 toilet rooms for women and 2 toilet rooms for men.
Toilets are used for free after you pay the entrance fee to the campsite. The toilet has been made of concrete construction materials with adequate supporting facilities. Toilets are the most urgent need to be provided and provide services to visitors.
Other supporting facilities are the prayer room which is close to the toilet. This hall-shaped mushalla is made of wood. You can use this prayer room to perform worship and religious activities.
The campsite also has adequate parking, although it looks very cramped. That week very many cars filled the parking area. This parking area can accommodate more than 100 motorbikes.
At the top to the right of the entrance is the staff camp office. The office, which is made of a wooden building, is the center for information, control and management of the campsite. Inside the office there are various facilities to support camping activities.
Regarding the fees charged if we camp at this location, it has a standard price. Prices are adjusted to the facilities that we will get during camping. They charge Rp. 100 K for tent rental, Rp. 25 K For tickets/person and Rp. 15K for motorbike parking fees.
Meanwhile you can also rent electricity to your camp location. The cost of renting a power cable is Rp. 25K which you can use until noon. Meanwhile, for firewood, you can order directly at the staff camp office location by spending around Rp. 50 K for a bundle of wood that has a length of 50 cm.
My trip this time was not just a trip for vacation or sightseeing. But this trip is a steemit promotion journey. We do steemit promotional activities in this camp area. I feel very happy to be able to enjoy this trip and have been successful steem camp event.

Saludos y bendiciones.
