A few daya ago we three brothers travelled to Gaibandha, one of the districts of Bangladesh stands on the river Jamuna. Our main purpose was to meet bride and her family. We started the train journey from Bogra at 10 o'clock. We reached our destination at 12.00 p.m. Then we hired auto van from there. It took 30 minutes to reach there. The bride's family welcomed us very warmly. After a while they served us various food items. After that the bride's family brought their daughter before us. My elder brother talked to her means he asked some questions to know her and family. I also explained about myself especially my educational background. Then we went out to see the surroundings. We went across the river. We saw the river without water. People were crossing the river on foot. We saw only sand and sand everywhere we can see. Some boats were across the river. Now people are using Horse-drawn carriages to carry their goods instead using boats. The river Jamuna lost its navigability no doubt. People are growing various crops like nuts, rice, corn and grains on the river. We want the river to get back her navigability and youth. We came back from there with the hope of continuing our life together.
