Greetings to you @hive-111293 and fellow steemit members of this community, all the best.
In this article, I'll be touching on the most interesting and popular animal from my country(Nigeria), namely the Monkey.
In Nigeria, monkeys can be found both in the forests and in most Zoological gardens, and while most of them live in trees, however, some live on land.
A typical example of terrestrial or land monkeys is the baboons.
The image below is a vivid depiction of a baboon, with it's owner, while entertaining an audience at a beach side in Lagos, Nigeria.
The baboons which are naturally terrestrial and the arboreal species of monkeys that live in trees are the most entertaining of all Nigerian mammals in the animal kingdom, in fact for me, they're quite interesting and amazing.
But one may ask, why is this conclusion reasonable? The reason is because baboons and other species of monkeys serve various purposes, for example, they can be used for jokes or entertaiment, or even for comedy, as you can see in the image below in the case of a baboon.
Besides, they could be trained to carry out various dance moves and can also do acrobatics on the floor, such as somersaults whereby a monkey turns over completely in the air many times in a dramatic way while jumping, and some could even perform acrobatics while in a tree like in the case of the arboreal species of monkeys.
Check them out in the following images.
The sharp contrast between the monkeys and the other higher or larger species such as apes, guerillas, chimpanzees, etc, is in the tail, for majority of monkeys have tails whereas apes and other larger mammals of that family don't have tails.
Monkeys, with their naturally endowed
instincts are highly inquisitive and intelligent, thus, these natural qualities they possess make their behaviour and actions very interesting and funny.
The high level of their instinct, coupled with their flexible hands and sharp vision, enables them to accomplish a lot of tasks. While most monkeys know quite well how to tackle difficult problems with the use of their instinct and can also learn from experience, still, they're not more intelligent than great apes.
Finally, monkeys live in groups or troops rather than live alone. And so considering all these and many other natural endowments that these creatures are gifted with, we can rightly deduce that they're quite interesting, funny and amazing, hence all credit and praise goes to almighty God, the creator.
I thank you all in this community, especially @hive-111293, for mapping out time to go through my content, and i hope i succeeded in making some interesting and impressive points concerning the subject in question.
