In a daily basis, a lot of things happen around us, it could be tragic event or joyous events. Today, in my news, I would share a joyous one with all the steemians here.

Let's take a look at what this scheme is all about;
During military regime in May 22nd, 1973, National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) was put together by Nigerian Government to include all the Nigerian youths who are graduates for the purpose of nation building and also for the development of Nigeria.

This scheme is only for all the Nigerian graduates who are below the age of thirty (30).
NYSC is also for proper encouragement, promotion of national unity and development of common goals among Nigerian youths.
Each corps member that take part in the National Youth Service scheme are being posted to various States other than their actual State of origin.

The reason is for them to mix with other youths from different ethnic groups, learn other people's culture, family backgrounds and social life. This is to bring unity in the country by bringing the youth together during orientation camp which is just for 3 weeks.

The camp is controlled by military personnels. The orientation camp happens across the 36 States in Nigeria before the youth are being posted to their Place of Primary Assignment (PPA). One working day is devoted for execution of Community Development Service ( CDS) and other working days Corps members are expected to work full-time as staff. Corpers are only allowed to leave their PPA after 11th months before preparing for their final clearance and passing out ceremony where their certificates of completion will be issued out.

The registration for the scheme is in batches and streams (Batch A, B and C) in a year.
On Thursday, 22nd June 2023, batch B stream 2 (2022) were issued a certificate of completion after their one year of serving the nation.

For those who are above 30 years, they are being given certificate of exemption which also serves as NYSC discharge certificate. This scheme is compulsory for all the Nigerian graduates except for those that are disabled or have already served paramilitary or military for one year.

Another great news I have today is that; the registration for Batch B 2023 is ongoing and it started yesterday 23rd June 2023.

You need to develop a more journalistic writing style for this type of publication. Currently, this reads more like a documentary publication.
