"Steemian's Nightmare": Accident strikes after a wedding😥

The world we inhabit is indeed beset on all sides by sorrow and tears😭. Just when it appears as though everything is falling into place and a sense of joy and contentment is within our grasp, tragedy and heartache can strike without warning, snatching away our fleeting moments of happiness and plunging us into despair. It's like the world is reminding us that happiness doesn't last, and that pain and suffering are always waiting to happen.

Our beloved Steemian (@ubikool) is going through a lot of pains right now. On that very day of his traditional marriage (07/09/2024), of which @bossj23, @ngoenyi, @okere-blessing @jewel005 and I witnessed, @ubikool's only sister was involved in devastating car accident, she hit her head very badly and her left leg is badly injured, her husband is alive together with their 1 year old baby. This incident happened when she left her father's compound, together with her husband and only daughter that Saturday night😔.

Her mother told her to sleep over in the family compound as it was getting late, but she insisted on going back home with her husband. She bid farewell to her brother who just got married, and her mother, then she left around 8pm. It was around 10pm when he received a distresssing new via phone call, informing him that her sister has been involved in a harrowing car accident, oh God😭.

Wedding night are said to be the best and memorable night for newly wedded couples, but @ubikool's wedding night echos tears, heartbreak and pains😭. He had to rush to (Enwongo-Abasi medical center) location where her sister was admitted that very night, he couldn't hold his tears when he saw her sister surviving through oxygen. He had a sleepless night, as she saw her sister in thin line between life and death.

In the morning, being 08/09/2024, I had to rush down to the hospital with a Christian brother who has a bus to take @ubikool's sister to another hospital, because the doctors there said that her condition is beyond their power. We immediately drove straight to (University of uyo teaching hospital)UUTH location where all facilities for the necessary check-ups and scan are available.

From Enwongo-Abasi to Teaching hospital was about 30 minutes drive, when we arrived, she was quickly admitted after paying for card as usual. Another oxygen was replaced as the first one was running low. As it stands now, @ubikool's only sister is unconscious, she doesn't blink, speak or move. Report reaching me today seems negative, because the doctor said it's a 50/50 situation, she may live or die. We don't want to lose her, please join my followers on Facebook and say a prayer for @ubikool's sister quick recovery.

What a nightmare for our dear steemian and family, I pray jehovah should strengthen him, restore back life into her sister's nostrils and bless his new marital home. AMEN🙏🏽
