A hospital is big or large medical facility, it is usually a building with plenty floors where serious ill patients are given medical and surgical treatment. A hospital usually has many rooms which are referred to as wards. People who works in the hospital are doctors, nurses, lap scientist, radiographers, surgeons, etc.
The Differences Between Private And Public Hospital
Private Hospital: As the word "private" implies, a private hospital is own by private sector, it can be own by one, two or more individuals that comes together in agreement to share ownership and then contribute to the building and establishment of the hospital. Though private hospital is expensive but their services is top notch😘.

The nurses here knows how to pamper their patients. I remember when my mum was critically sick, we rushed her to a private hospital and immediately we got there, they attended to her first before I even made any payment though not all private hospitals are like that. But I was grateful that this one prioritize their patients treatment before money. Private hospitals raise fund for maintenance through bills paid by the patients.
Public hospital: Public hospital is own by the government and is quite affordable. In terms of care, the public hospital don't really care about their patients. They are so strict in administering treatment. Only a few nurses cares but most of them don't care at all, they just come, administer treatment and goes off. My uncle died in a public hospital, he was engaged in an accident and was rushed to a public hospital. Imagine an accident victim bleeding out and there was no doctor to carry out immediate treatment, we had to wait for almost 5 hours before my uncle was attended to. The next day, my uncle was still unconscious so they needed to carry out an x-ray scan on him but there was no functional x-ray machine, we had to move my uncle who was unconscious to a private hospital to carry out the examination. At last after three days my uncle died😭. Most public hospitals do not have functional medical appliances to carter for the need of patients.
COST OF TREATMENT IN PUBLIC AND PRIVATE HOSPITAL IN MY COUNTRY
In Nigerian the cost of treatment in hospitals varies depending on the location of the hospital.
Consultation fee in public hospital ranges from 500 to 2000 niara while in private hospital is 5,000 to 20,000 niara.
Bed fee in public hospital is between 2,000 and 6,000 while in private hospital is between 8,000 and 20,000 daily.
Laboratory test in a private hospital ranges from 5,000 to 50,000 while in a public hospital is from 3,000 to 15,000 depending on the kind of test you want to do.
Surgical fee in both private and public hospital depends on the kind of surgical operation you are doing but the fee is lesser is a public hospital.
Which type of hospital do you prefer for regular check-ups, and why?
I prefer a private hospital, I just pray that I have the resources I need to foot the bill when need arises. I have heard many stories about how nurses in private hospital cares for their patients and I even witnessed it when my mum was sick, they were friendly and caring so for this reason I choose a private hospital.
Have you ever been hospitalized? How was your experience?
I have not been hospitalised before but my mother and my husband has been hospitalised before in a private hospital. The attention we got there was heart touching. It seemed like workers there were family members because of how they cared for them.

The rudeness of some doctors and nurses in government hospitals is just too much. Last month I took my children to the government hospital, their services was very poor and I promised not to back.
Apart from the exorbitant charges from the private clinics, I prefer them to the nonsense government hospitals that nurses don't care about human beings.
Thank you for the invitation, I'll try to make my entry too. Best wishes!
