Hello Steemit friends how are you all doing trust you are doing well, it feels good to be here this is my first time writing in this community.
I love the topic of the contest because it talks about my favourite people been my family. For me i define family as a group of happy people related by blood or adpotion I am so addicted to my family that almost everything about me revolves around my family. Thank you @abdulah for organising this contest.
What's the latest good news in your family?
The latest good news is my dad's successful surgery, this is a surgery we debted on him going for some of my siblings never wanted him to go for it believing it could be managed while my other siblings wanted it to be done, I guess those who do not want the surgery was out of fear but he went for it and it came out successful and it brought a big relief and Joy to the family.
Tell us one of the bad news from the past in your family.
This is a news I didn't like to talk about, it's the passing away of my mother, losing a family member comes with so much pain especially where a strong family bond exist the news hit my family badly because we have never lost a dear one, I'm yet to completely recover from the shock her absence has created.

My favourite relative is my kid sister, I call her my friend, she understands me so well, and she never judges me funny enough we reside in different city and will not see each other for months sometimes in a year but we relate and communicate everyday that it seems we live in the same house .
She is one person in the family who knows how to relate to everyone because she understands everyone's lifestyle and deals with them according. She is my favourite because her level of understanding is compared to none.
Describe Steemit as a one-family in two paragraphs.
Steemit is a platform where you meet people and bond as family and friends irrespective of their race, country and religious
Steemit is a family that builds your confidence with their love and kindness by interacting, voting and commenting on your post as a family.
