So I’m thrilled to be participating in this delightful contest "PRIVATE HOSPITAL VS PUBLIC HOSPITAL, which was well organized by @abdullahw2, and I believe you’ll be interested to hear some facts about the both hospitals 🏥 and how there operation differ. So, let’s go!

IN TERMS OF CARE AND QUALITY, WHAT ARE THE MAIN DIFFERENCES BETWEEN PUBIC AND PRIVATE HOSPITALS?

Is quite obvious, and I believe we all knows that anything been called PUBLIC is usually owned by the government or a community, while PRIVATE are things been owned by an individual, so in that case, I will be in details about the difference between public and private hospitals in teams of care and quality.

In terms of care and quality attendance or treatment, the main significant difference between public and private hospitals is that
Public hospitals receive partial or full funding from the local governments and the are usually more flexible and accommodate a variety of insurance plans.

Mean while, the private hospitals are not often affordable like the public hospitals due to, is been owned by an individual. So in summary, the public hospitals have a larger capacity, enabling them to treat more patients at the same time.

IN YOUR COUNTRY, HOW IS THE COST OF TREATMENT DIFFERENT FROM PRIVATE AND PUBLIC HOSPITALS?

Actually here in Nigeria, the cost of treatment between public hospitals and private hospitals is always far different, and below,👇 i will be eleburating how the cost of treatment differs. So let's go.

The cost of treatment at the public hospitals here in Nigeria is more lesser, because is been owned by the government, mean while, some of the necessary bill's 💵 are been handled and paid by the government, so patience are not fully charged or billed based on their treatments, so public hospitals are more affordable and cheaper, mean while, there bills for treatments are not expensive.

The cost of treatment in most private hospitals here in Nigeria is so expensive that some patience can't afford to go for treatments there, because the owner meant be trying to meet up and recover with his expenses.

WHICH TYPE OF HOSPITAL DO YOU PREFER FOR REGULAR CHECK-UPS, AND WHY?

For me!, I always prefer private hospital 🏥 for check-ups and treatment, but not all private hospitals .

Me chosen private hospital is not just for writing sake, but this is the reality. So I prefer going to private hospital 🏥 because here in Nigeria all government property has been turned upside down, mean while, some of the public workers are not been paid as the are supposed to, so most times the nurses at the public hospitals will feel reluctant or less consign to some patience until his/her case becomes so urgent due to their salary are being delayed and most times the Will decide to go for strike and there patience will now be stranded at that point.

So I prefer private hospitals because the owner or director or founder will always try as much as he can to do anything possible so as to ensure that everything is in order so he will not encounter any down fall in his hospital, due at the end it meant be costly and expensive but the will try to give you their best.

HAVE YOU EVER BEEN HOSPITALIZED? HOW WAS YOUR EXPERIENCE?

I have been hospitalized for so many times, but every since then, this last one was so bad and critical. Actually, the experience wasn't funny at all, I really passed through hell 🔥, i believe that @richy20 will be a living witness, because when he had that I wasn't ok he came to visit me , actually he was sucked and he really sympathized for me due to my critical condition at that moment, but I really thank God that finally he used the doctor and nurse as an instrument to heal me.

CONCLUSION

Truly, public hospitals are more affordable and less expensive mean while, there cost is not that much, but due to the present condition's of my country Nigeria is, I think that private hospitals are now doing more better than the public hospitals.
