I am from Ohafia in Abia State of the South Eastern Region of Nigeria. I am proud to be a son of the great tribe. I do love my village because it is a home for all. People from all works of live and all.varyimg cities come to my hometown for relaxation and tourist purposes because of the beauty of the hometown. It was nicknamed "The small London"

"What Is your favorite food

I am in love with the abacha also known as the African salad. It is very tasty comprising of ugba, vegetables hot pepper, onion spices, palm oil and a blend of rich veggies with sumptuous proteinous fish or meat.

I enjoy the delicacy amidst others. I am a heavy foodie and recently I filmed my cousin eating during the Christmas celebration you would really love to see Daniel in action I guess.

How is life in the village

The village setting is a thing of beauty, waking up to melodious chirping of birds and the natural morning dew, so cool and calm, waking up to the natural interaction.

Moreso, we do the clean-up in the village environment, we locate the stream, fetching water and graced with beautiful water bodies and beautiful sound of nature as the water currents flow.

Additionally, the brave hunters move into the wild forest of the village, hunting games. Special games such as gazelles, antelopes, gorillas, deer and wild cats too. About 4 months ago a leopard was caught and sent to the animal museum in the neighborhood of the village.

The social life in the village is a wonder, there are special events such as; New yam festival, and the special wrestling matches which takes place twice every year

Generally, life in the village is a wonder as we live, care and encounter less problems room we love the life in the village. It brings us together in love and this bubbling joy exists between young folks in the village.

"Why the life of village is better than city?

Life in the village is better than in the city to me. It is really a home for all. A place of peace and less worries

However, in the village there is less expenses as we get all we need from the farm, stream and the forest too. We cook as a family in big pots as big as half a drum and serve enough for the kindred. The love of eating with great number of family brings me the fufillment that we are one. We gather as a family to enjoy our delicacies.

On the contrary, in the city, gates and fences separate each neighborhood, every family remains in their homes making life at home.boringa and less fun filled. No interaction as everyone keeps a mean face minding his own business.

Moreso, during special events such as carnivals we act as one dancing freely to enjoying the carnival without any disturbances in our village. We have fun without any altercation of any sort.

On the contrary, in the town you hardly enter an event without paying a gate fee. You must pay before entering any event, it's so painful, as there are so much rules and it makes life so difficult in the town. I do hope we understand my clear analogy too.

Finally, water a natural gift is free to all in the village, we go to the stream to get it whenever we need it undisturbed or without stress.

In the town here we pay for water bills! It's so painful too, the Water governing commission taxes citizens to pay for water bills which is a free natural resource we get in the village free of charge without restrictions. The village is indeed a home for relaxation too. I love my village and would forever be proud to be a son of the soil.
