Good day my follow steemians on this community, it my happiness to be here with all of you and share my thoughts and quality content with everyone.

Today I will be participating on a contest organized by @abdullahw2 which we had to say something on how we can promote Steemit to everyone.

But before i start, I will like to invite @bossj23 @goodybest and @jozzie90 to participate on this contest too.

According to you what is the main difference between Steem Blockchain and other social platforms?

With my own understanding of Steemit platform and other social media platforms is that Steemit platform rewards it users for through crypto currency such as steem and steem dollars for creating and curating good and nice content on the platform. This motivate user to contribute valuble content and engage with the communities.

While itis not the same on the other social media people engaged and do anything they like.

How do you like to Promote Steem Blockchain i.e through social media or offline meeting with people?

I will prefer offline meeting with people when bit come to promoting Steem Blockchain because Steemit is not like other social media that even without mentor any person can learn and understand it by its self.

I remember when I was introduced to the the platform we hold a meet up with people to enlighten us on the platform about Mang thing likes:

• make down
• posting key
• active key
• master key

And other things which is not the same on other social platforms.

So offline meeting help new user to learn more about the Steemit platform and continuos interaction and engagement with the platform also helps new people to know it better.

What strategies would you employ to engage and retain new users once they join Steemit?

I think the best strategy to use and retain new user to the platform is to hold a meet up with them and encouragement them to be consistent in the platform no matter the support they are getting.

Most time people are hard to convince so sharing you testimonies with them, what you learn and earn on the platform will be a big motivation to them.

But at the beginning you need to advise any one that is interested in joining the platform that they should not come for the money alone but for the knowledge and what they will learn from the platform and when they have those on their mindset, then it will be easy for them to be able to remain in the platform even if the support is not coming as before.
