Assalamualaikum, my dearest Steemit friends. How is your day going my friends?Hope very well. Today I am here to take part in an interesting contest that was presented to us by @cryptoloover brother. I really liked the theme of his contest and that is "Introduce your Village." It is a great opportunity for me to present my village to everyone. I am very glad and excited to take part in the contest that he provide us. Before start the main part of the contest, I would like to give a big thanks to my brother for organized such a beautiful contest.

My village name is Shiromoni which is located in the Khulna district.The primary occupation of the villagers is agriculture, with many cultivating crops such as rice, jute, and vegetables. The village is also home to a number of small businesses, including shops, restaurants, and markets.
Shiromoni is known for its vibrant cultural traditions, including folk music, dance, and theater. The village has several cultural organizations that work to preserve and promote these traditions.In short, our village is rich and full of everything.Below I have tried to highlight some of the beauty of our village through pictures.

Village is rich in paddy fields, vegetable fields, fish farming, farms etc. and there is no shortage of these in our village. The first photo I shared was of our winter farmers at work in the early morning hours. I took this photo when the farmer was employed to sow paddy in our land. Many have employed farmers to sow paddy in their land. So everyone is raising paddy with farmers from their respective parts.

The following pictures are the biggest cultural and sports competitions held in our village. It lasts for three days and is attended by thousands of people and this time the number of people is more than last time and that is because it is held again for the first time after covid. Here everyone comes to watch and participate in this sports competition.

Another picture I shared is of a beautiful place in our village. This place is known as bypass road in our area. And this place has newly constructed railway line which is a very beautiful place for us to visit. My friends and I sometimes go out for a walk here. The specialty here is the beautiful environment and gentle breeze that keeps our brain calm. In the afternoon, many people gather here and they also like to stay in one place.

What is your favourite food in village?

The village food is quite different and well liked by all, including rice and alu bharta. Which is seen in every village people's daily breakfast. Besides, the village has all kinds of fresh fruits such as: papaya, mango, jam, kathal, batabi lemon, litchi, guava as well as coconut water. And fast food includes Singara, Samucha, Payaju, Chop, Jhal Muri all delicious snacks. Also heavy meals include gher fish, duck, chicken, beef and goat meat which they like to eat regularly and on special days.And one of the favorite food of village people is pitha they are expert in making pitha and different types of pitha can be seen in the village including Chitai pitha, Puli pitha, Pan pitha, Vapa pitha, Dudh khejur pitha is one of them.

How is life in the village?

Life in the village is simple and peaceful. People live close to nature and often work in agriculture. The air is fresh and clean, and there is usually less noise and pollution compared to cities. Our village are usually small communities where people know each other and help each other out. There are usually fields and farms around villages where people grow crops and raise animals. People in the village tend to have simple lifestyles and enjoy spending time outdoors.

Why the life of village is better than city?

Life in a village can be better than life in a city for a few reasons. First, villages tend to have a quieter and more peaceful environment, which can be good for people who enjoy nature and a slower pace of life. Second, the cost of living in a village can be lower than in a city, which can make it easier for people to save money or make ends meet. Third, in a village, people tend to know each other more closely and there can be a stronger sense of community. Overall, while both city and village life have their advantages and disadvantages, and in combination with all this I prefer village life for its simplicity and peacefulness.
