The Diary Game, Sunday, August 18, 2024: "✨Enthusiasm and Creativity in Celebrating Independence Day🇮🇩✨"

Assalamualaikum everyone...
Apakabar all stemian friends, hopefully still given health ^-^.
Today I am back to tell you about the activities I did on Sunday, August 18, 2024.

Starting from the morning bagun and seeing the conditions outside are raining. Today we plan to watch the carnival which will be held at 10 am. Before that I started cleaning up the house and helping my mom cook food for my dad. After everything was done we made some cakes that will be delivered to my brother's place. My brother will be selling some drinks and we were advised to put some cakes because today will be crowded in front of his house. Since the carnival route this time passed by my brother's house, he planned to sell on that day.

At 9 o'clock, I left with my mother and sister on a motorcycle. We hurried to leave so we wouldn't get stuck in traffic. Because there is often congestion due to roads that are closed when the carnival will take place. We arrived at my brother's place and helped him arrange the items that would be used to sell.

Shortly after the carnival started, the rain started again. At that time the elementary school children had just started walking and they had to walk in the rain. But I saw some children feeling happy and still excited because they could take a rain shower hehe. I waited for my cousin who was wearing traditional clothes this time. His mom said he really wanted to join the carnival. Surprisingly, my sister wasn't even interested in participating because she didn't like makeup. Because of the rain some of the children's makeup was washed off and I felt very sorry for them.

I continued to watch until finally I saw a child wearing clothes like a shaun the sheep cartoon hehe. Everyone laughed seeing the children's faces were black and very funny. They danced with their unsmiling faces making me want to laugh even more hehe.

I was very happy to see the carnival, because we could see all the creativity and enthusiasm that was released by each school in order to welcome August 17. Some of them were dressed in traditional clothes from Sabang to Merauke. And there are also those who wear clothes with garuda bird decorations like in this picture. My mom asked me to take a picture with one of the students wearing a garuda shirt because the boy was very friendly and kept smiling from the start.

There were also those from special schools who participated in enlivening the carnival this time. Those with disabilities did not hinder their enthusiasm to participate in this carnival. One of the purposes of holding the carnival on August 17 is to increase love for the country and increase one's creativity in the cultural field.

This activity lasted long enough until 3 pm. I, who was getting tired, immediately invited my mother to go home. But the way home was so difficult because it was still very crowded with vehicles going home too. Arriving home we rested and finally fell asleep.

At night I invited my sister to go with me and my friend to eat ramen. There we ordered two ramen because my sister didn't really like ramen. He bought some snacks at Indomaret first before getting to the ramen place. The ramen here is very good and the price is also quite affordable. After finishing all the food, we took pictures first before finally going home.
