FC Barcelona, who acted as the visiting team, performed impressively to humiliate hosts Real Madrid with a landslide score of 0-4. The match entitled El Clasico, the first volume of this season, was held at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium on Sunday (27/10) early morning West Indonesia Time. Polish national team striker, Robert Lewandowksi, was the star in the El Clasico duel by scoring two of Barcelona's winning goals. The other two goals were scored by Raphinha and Lamine Yamal.
This important victory further strengthens Barcelona's position at the top of the La Liga standings with 30 points. The Blaugrana are getting further away from chasing second place Real Madrid with a collection of 24 points. The match which took place at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium was fierce. Both teams created opportunities, starting from Kylian Mbappe's speculative kick in the 12th minute.
One minute later, it was Lamine Yamal's turn to penetrate the Real Madrid penalty box, but his shot was still too weak to easily reach the Madrid goalkeeper, Andriy Lunin. The visitors had another chance to score in the 21st minute from Raphinha. Real Madrid had a chance from Vinicius Junior in the 23rd minute, but the close-range shot went sideways to the right of Inaki Pena's goal.
Until the 30th minute, Kylian Mbappe scored a goal against Barcelona but the referee disallowed it because Mbappe was caught offside. In the 54th minute, Barcelona opened the scoring through a goal from Lewandowski who escaped the offside trap when he received the ball from Marc Casado and managed to break into Andriy Lunin's goal. Two minutes later Robert Lewandowski scored the second goal for Barcelona.
In the 77th minute, Barcelona increased their lead to 0-3. Starting from a counter-attack, Raphinha released a pass which was completed well by Lamine Yamal. The hosts fell even further after Raphinha scored the fourth goal in the 84th minute. A cross from behind led to Raphinha who chipped the ball past Lunin.
