How's everything going friends? As a newbie this is the second time am posting in this wonderful community and I really love this contest alot that's why I decided to participate in it. There are currently so many means of transportation in our world today and everyone has the particular ones they like and dislike. I thank @abdullahw2 for organizing this contest.

What is your preferred mode of daily transport and why?

My preferred more of daily transportation is a Car. It is a a vehicle that can contain 5 passengers and also the driver. A public transport that's a Car is known as a Taxi. I love this mode of transportation so much and the reason I love it alot is because is a very very simple vehicle unlike those coastal bus, trains, aeroplanes and few others. Cars are simple vehicles that are well protected with doors and windows. Keke and motorcycle aren't well protected that's why I don't like them.

What are the advantages and disadvantages of using your preferred transport method?

The advantages of using this particular mode of transportation is that it is very affordable and well secured and also fast. Cars have doors and windows which keeps us well secured inside the vehicle while on our journey. Cars are also very fast in movement as they don't move slow st all. Another advantage is that cars aren't filled with alot of people so the rate or possibility of noise is very low.

The disadvantages of using this particular mode of transportation is that it doesn't have space inside like aeroplanes, buses and trains. There's high possibility of discomfort if the weather is very hot, especially for the person sitting in the middle at the back. Most times when I enter a car I don't sit at the middle at all. Another disadvantage is the aspect of escape during an immediate accident, the people inside will have to open the door first before been able to come out but in a Keke and motorcycle people can easily jump out.

Like I said earlier, the transportation cost for a car/taxi isn't very expensive but affordable. Due to the current bad economy of Nigeria, it has increased a bit. Here in Nigeria the transportation cost of a taxi depends on the distance you will pass through before getting to your final destination. Most times when am.not going to a very far place, the transportation cost is NGN150 which is equivalent to 0.5 steem but when am going to a far place to attend an event, the transportation cost is NGN500 which is equivalent to 1.48 steem.

Have you ever considered switching to another mode of transport? If yes, why? If no, why not?

Is impossible here in Nigeria to stick to only one mode of transport because there are so many mode of transport here and sometimes when one of them is bit available we have no choice but to go with the one that's available in other not to miss our appointment. I have always made used of the buses and Keke in my area but I don't make use of the motorcycle because I don't really like it, we can't use it when is raining. I always switch to different mode of transport just to survive.
