Saturday 28th October 2023: A Shopping Day Out With My Bestie

Dear Diary!

Yesterday was one of those extraordinary days for me, yes I went shopping as you know it's one of my hobbies. This particular shopping was unusual because this time I went with my bestie @eliany and we had a lot of fun. I bought so many things for myself and my family we will be using the items for our upcoming regional convention, you know I'm pretty excited about it! But wait, after the shopping, I felt that I needed to cut down on my spending, I know life is getting harder day by day right? Oh my, am I spending too much? Please I just want to look good likewise my better half and kids. It's okay let me tell you all my yesterday's activities in detail.

Morning:

I first woke up by 2 AM to a nightmare, well I'm not a dreamer in fact I can't recall the dream again but I prayed about it, yes I don't like such. After that I logged in to Steemit and made some replies, I don't know it seems like I'm addicted to the platform, I can't stay without it, after spending some time I logged out and attended to my princess, I fed and changed her nappies before we went back to sleep.

I slept until daybreak, I chatted with my bestie when I woke up, asking her if she'd come to market and she said yes. Wawu it's gonna be fun! I took toasted bread and hot choco for breakfast. After eating I carry out house chores, sweep and do the dishes, then I lose my baby's hair bath and wash her hair with shampoo and conditioner.

I also fed and packed her hair before I showered and left for the market. I met my friend on the road, where we boarded a tricycle to the market. At the market, I bought my kid's shoes and mine. I needed silver sandals so I bought 1 all the shoes cost 30,000 thousand naira which is approximately 130 Steems. My bestie bought a gold sandal for 12,000 thousand naira only and the shoe is fine.

Afternoon:

After buying the shoes we decided to leave the market and My friend's husband picked us up at the market. We drove down to EFG MART to continue shopping, that was my first time shopping for dressing material here, I used to think that things like this would be more expensive here but no they are quite affordable! So I was like indeed we "shouldn't judge a book by its cover"

I bought some stuff like boxers for hubby, a weavon brush, baby's powder, my face powder and cream etc. I was hungry so I drank yogurt at the mall and regained my strength.

Everything cost 20,000 Naira, I transferred the money and left immediately because my husband wanted to go out, he was the one taking care of our kids at home, so I needed to relieve him. I bought fresh tomatoes at the market though, to prepare stew.

Evening:

Reaching home my kids were so happy to see their new shoes, I was happy too, I tended to my baby and then we strolled to the salon, I needed my hair packed, and it didn't take time, the saloonist made inner weaving for me then we went back. At home, I ate garri and atama soup for dinner and made a post before I retired for the day. It was an amazing day
