One of the most precious gifts that life could offer someone is good friends. I consider friends to be a blessing. Good friends take away some pain, sorrow, disappointment, and even depression. Friends make our life colorful, and they give meaning to life. He who has no friends is yet to know how beautiful life is.

I am glad I have not been left behind in terms of friends. God has blessed me with people who I can proudly look up to them as friends. They share my pains with me and they celebrate with me. I won't be wrong to tell you that some friends are more than some brothers or sisters. I have such friends.

Before jumping into telling you how long I have been acquainted with my friend, it will be wise to tell you more about him.

My best friend's name is Kenneth Varma. He is 26 years old, and he is an indigen of Adamawa state, Nigeria. He studied physics education at Modibbo Adama university of technology yola.

He has been my friend for nothing less than 6 years. When I got admission into Modibbo Adama University in the year 2015, I met a lot of people before I met Kenneth, but as of today, I consider him to be the best out of all the people I call friends.

We studied the same course, the same department, and at the same level. When we were still in school, we go to lectures together, read together, did assignments together, cooked together, and on the same bed, we sleep. To cut the story short, we did everything together as students. We hardly stayed apart.

There were thousands of reasons for being comfortable with being a friend of Kenneth, and I can tell you that forever he will be my friend. If you are looking for a guy with a good personality, then look for where Kenneth is.

I believe if we are to mention the qualities we need in our friends, we do mention qualities like:

• charismatic
• hardworking
• intelligent
• smart
• sympathetic
• supportive
• clean etc.

The above are the qualities that we all might probably need in a friend. Today, I can tell you that Kenneth has all the qualities mentioned above. He is one of the people that won't see me in trouble and back off. He shares my pains with me. In times of joy, he celebrates with me. He advises and encourages me.

Talking about having something in common with Kenneth, I won't be wrong to tell you that we were able to stay together in school for years because of our similarities in character. We see life almost from the same angle. We have a similar objective and dream. Remember, we read the same course at the university. Although we have our differences, nevertheless, we understand each other.
