What is your preferred mode of daily transport and why?

My preferred mode of daily transport is a car. The reason why I like cars is the speed and convenience of a car. Going to places with cars daily makes me feel more comfortable than being on top of a motorcycle.

The reason why I prefer the car is because it is easy to see a car to the place which I am going, and there is no other mode of transport except taxi and airplane. Also, I like cars because I can be inside without someone from outside noticing me, and during the rainy season, I can still get to wherever I choose to with the car.

What are the advantages and disadvantages of using your preferred transport method?

A car is an automobile motor vehicle that has four wheels which road on the road, and can carry more than 5 people. Having four wheels and running on the road makes the car to be risky for transport, which some of the advantages and disadvantages are:

Advantages

• It moves faster (speedy)
• It can carry up to eight people
• During the rainy season, you will not be affected
• It is convenient and cheaper for transport.
• It saves time
• It gives independence, freedom and it is entertaining

Disadvantages

• The wheel can have problems at any time when the tire passes on a shaped object.
• It can cause noise pollution
• Traffic congestion and causes hold up.
• Expensive to maintain
• When faulty on the road, it is time-consuming to repair, just as it happens on my way home as seen in the picture.

Share the cost fare of your preferred mode of transportation in Steem and your country's currency.

Motor car transport is the common mode of transport that Nigerians use to transport themselves across the state and as well as town service. However, in my location, the cost of fare of car transpotoide the town where I am staying is ₦500 to ₦1,000 (1.4 to 2.8 STEEM) which is based on the distance where a person is going.

Transportation outside the state is more expensive than the transport fare paid within the state. It costs more than ₦3000 (8.4 STEEM) to travel out of the state using a motor vehicle.

Have you ever considered switching to another mode of transport? If yes, why? If not, why not?

Yes, I have considered switching to another mode of transport to save money. Things are becoming expensive in Nigeria transportation fares are rising daily, so I am now considering entering a tricycle for internal transport.

Due to the issue of insecurity in the country, I am also considering switching to an airplane when traveling out of the state to another state. Airplane mode is more faster and convenient than motor vehicles which I have considered using whenever I want to travel to another state.
