Self Development Before Selflessness

Good day my friends, it's been a while here. Today I thought of sharing something that has been bothering me for a while. Okay the thing is we have been trying to do a lot for people and sometimes forgetting ourselves but is this really right? This article will explain everything.

Somehow we wake hustle everyday and at the end of the day there is nothing to show for it, it's not as if we are spending the money carelessly but because we tend to put others first, we want people around us to be okay at the expense of our happiness and self-development.

This isn't a bad act but I personally believe that self-development should come before this, you have to make sure that you are okay, forget about family pressure, everyone will be alright even when you have passed on.

Make sure you stand well, make your life first before thinking of putting someone else on, you owe yourself this big growth. Don't be surprised that the people you are helping today might be the one broke-shaming you when life put you down, apply sense while dealing with people.

This post isn't against helping your family and friends, no it's far from that but what I am particular about is seeing to yourself, make sure you are comfortable before doing anything for anyone, put yourself first but don't be greedy. Stand up for yourself, work till you can make life easier for you before thinking of sending your brothers and sisters to school else you will be out there pushing an empty truck.

Help your family in your own little way but do not pressure yourself to doing what you can't reach because at the end of the day you need to grow, you need to invest in your future, don't loose yourself trying to please others, people move on very easy these days, don't die trying to please anyone my friends, stand up for yourself and help yourself first before another person.

In conclusion, this isn't about not being selfless but putting yourself first, you have to guard your future like your life depends on it, you can only give what you have and not what you don't have, stay safe friends.
