"The Best Contest I Have Seen In Steemit"

Hello everyone, good day to you all, it's been a bright day for me as well. So in this beautiful Steemit journey, one can never say they haven't seen contest being organized in various communities even the engagement challenge, sometimes, we have participated in good number of them but then we don't even know what they are and what they stand for, so in this contest organized by @saintkelvin17, I will be trying my best to make sure I I answer as well as enlighten us on what contest is and which one became my favourite.

Steemit contests are the different writing and creative competitions made on each communities on Steemit for members of the communities to participate and win some amount of steem due to their performances.

Also, these contests are often organized by the community moderators or the official community account. This contest helps keep different communities active because contest drives engagement and Steemit is an engaging Blockchain.

For some reasons, I find this contest The Last Post I Created In 2023 organized by @saintkelvin17. Actually, the contest made me reminisce on my journey on Steemit because the last post I made in 2023 was all about my journey on Steemit so coming out here to still remember what my last post was, it felt really special, I could see through the struggles and wins.

I was able to express what the last post I made in 2023 meant to me because to me, it was really a special moment as I kept reflecting on howfar I have gone in Steemit and howfar I am aspiring to go, if there is anything that I enjoyed most was how I got to share my dreams and visions for Steemit this year and how I planned to execute them.

It is not a weekly contest but a one time contest, the poster just wanted everyone to share what their last post in 2023 was and how special it meant to us and I am glad each participants were able to showcase their creativity.

Also, the rewards were some amount of steem power being rewarded to the winning participants depending on the quality of their contents hence the rewards and order;

1st Position - 7 Steem power

2nd Position - 5 Steem power

3rd Position - 3 Steem power

If I have the opportunity to organize contest, I would be making it a weekly contest where people get to share different recipes of foods they are in a single day of that week. I so much love food and I am always on the look out for new recipes to try.

Also, the contest will create a medium of interaction between participants through interactive engagement and will be giving out 10 Steem Power in the ratio of 5:3:2 to the first three best content posts. People will alo get to learn from eachother and that will make steem a better place.
