What's a Steemit contest?

Steemit contest is a contest organized on the Steemit platform where qualified Steemians participate to win the prize that is assigned to the contest. I said qualified because every contest has rules and only qualified Steemian's entries are taken into consideration.

So a contest is a competition that allows every qualified member to make his or her entry and then at the end of the entire process the organizer comes up with the result of those he fills worth the prize or reward.

Often, the reward or prize is given to the most outstanding articles but nonetheless, the organizer has an exclusive right to select whoever he wants to be the winner of the contest. This is true because I have seen articles with more quality than others ignored and lesser quality articles chosen as winners.

What's the best contest you have seen in Steemit?

The best contest I have seen on the Steemit platform is the contest organized by @shiftitamanna which goes with the title my goals for 2024. It is indeed a wonderful contest that requires a to discuss their goal for the year.

I see it as the best because it allowed me to plan myself for the year and also work towards achieving the set goals. So based on that, I did proper work on setting my goals and working towards achieving them.

I recommend all Steemians to try and set their goals for 2024 and also work towards achieving them. Everyone needs a goal to work properly as you will be focused towards achieving that.

Is it a weekly contest and what's its reward?

It's not a weekly contest and the reward pool for the contest is booming support for 1st and 2nd position respectively. So the contest is done based on the season we found ourselves.

So seasons like this, we are supposed to set a goal and then see how far this goal can be achieved before the said year finishes in that way we can measure the growth we have made about what we have achieved and the goal we set at the beginning.

If you begin to create contests in Steemit what kind of contest will you be creating?

If I begin to create contests on the Steemit platform, the type of contests I will be creating will be contests that involve creative writing. I love storytelling be it real or fiction.

So I will always organize a contest where the users will be required to create a real or fictional story about a particular event. The essence is to see how creative Steemians can be in bringing up interesting stories.
