Hot News Contest 22| My Means of Transportation

Hello friends how is life going, most especially people from Nigeria. How are we coping with the current hardship brought upon us by fuel hike and new designed Naira Notes policy. I hope we are developing reselience and means to overcome this turbulent period. Thank you @bela90 for inviting me to participate in this contest and thanks to @fantvwiki for organising this contest and I will be participating for the first time in this Hot News community.

Before the advent of cars, buses, tricycles, bicycles, motorcycles to mention but a few. The first means of transportation are our legs. Yes it is true that walking with leg can be time consuming, stressful most especially if it is over long distances and if you are with loads. But sometimes situation can subject you to using what is available if you are so determined to do something. This has become my plight and case with many other Nigerians who are left with no other option than to walk with their legs over long distances while carrying loads, go to work, school or some other businesses.

The road network in my city is very good. Lately in Uyo city, Akwa Ibom State due to lack of money from Nigerian banks such as First Bank plc, Aka Road, and due to Central Bank of Nigeria new design note and monetary policy, I cannot have access to my money at the bank even if I should have I cannot withdraw more than 2,000. I have resorted to using the old means of transportation such as my legedis Benz (that is my legs) type of fuel used is food and water which costs about #500 - #1,000 a plate depending on the type. If home made it should cost nothing aside from the money used in preparing the food. If I was to pay for public transportation, I should spend #500 daily to and from my office in this current hike of fuel. The vehicles here use gasoline as fuel and it currently costs #450 to #500 per liter.

Conclusion

In conclusion all types of Moto vehicles are very good for transportation as they make life easier and faster. In the case of situation we need to adjust to fit into the situation as it may last but for a while. Let me invite @gwillchrist @manuelhook and @videl to participate in this contest.
