Hello people
I am @peacebala
From Nigeria
I greet you all from my heart. Thank you @saintkelvin17 for a good contest topic, I am glad to paticipate now, but before then, I want to invite my good friends to come and read, comment, suport me and also share their opinion on the topic "My experience during the COVID-19 lockdown.
Tell us how you survived hunger and boredom during the lockdown.
It was a living hell for me, during that pandemic, there was no school allowed to continue the section, even those who were about to write exams, some started exams but couldnt finish while other schools were there without any move for resumption.
Talking about the hunger, although my mother was always going to the market, we were not lacking much because she has a shop at the front of the house, things were hard then but thank God for all. The boredom was hell because no placee to go and even if there is a place to go, you can't move.
Tell us 4 ways you prevented the COVID-19 virus.
As of that time, everybody was so scared to step out, the bankers were wearing nose mask, market sellers in fact everybody was just scared of death including myself. I made sure my younger ones dont go out to carelessly contact the so-called virus. Some things I was able to do to prevent my family and myself from contacting are:
I provided hand santizer for the family
Regular washing of hands
Facemask use
I avoided crowded areas.
Did any of your family members or close friends have contact with the virus?
None of my family members contacted the various in fact we were we heard it from very far places so before it got to Nigeria, we were already aware and preventive measures atre taken and observed.
Still on that, some persons were so careless and got infected by the virus but I must beay abig thank you to the almighty for the protection, my friends were all safe and families too were cool.
Ebola and COVID-19 which one was more frustrating?
COVID-19 was more frustrating and killing than Ebola.
Secondly, Ebola Virus didn't stay much like the Covid, covid was more deathly than Ebola but that is to God all has gone.
This life calls for carefulness in all you do. We must be very careful friends, the life today is very different from the life of yesterday. Year's back, life was not too bad as this but thank God we are still surviving it.
