In terms of care and quality, what are the main differences between pubic and private hospitals?

Hospitals in general understanding as a place where people come for medical treatment of different kinds of sickness from doctors who have read and have knowledge of medical treatment.
In Nigeria which is my country, we both private and public hospitals but when you enter the private you will notice a big difference between both .

A public hospitals is a hospital where individuals that is designed for the public and a place where individuals that don't have much go for treatment. but now workers in the public hospitals are always rude to the patient they always get pissed off over little things which is not good for the patient.

I have seen many ways they respond to patient even the ones that are in critical condition their responses was so mean. even when my cousin was admitted to a public hospitals they doctors where just forming busy . It took up to an hour before she was attending to.

And public hospitals the hardly have the required medicine they don't have adequate things for proper checkup you must be referred to and hospitals to purchase the drugs.
In private hospitals their comfort zone is top-notch in giving attention to patient and good response .

Immediately care and attention had been you feel a deep relief . The private hospitals has a good maintenance and high quality drugs . and the doctors and nurses are well equipped and mannered.

In your country, how the cost of treatment is different from private and public hospitals?

Private hospital is high in cost because of it maintainance and high quality drugs and good environment that they have. because of this their high maintenance poor individuals can't afford the drugs.

Public hospitals their cost is not high , but the problem is they don't have much drug they don't attend to patient immediately , public hospitals don't have good maintenance and quality drugs this tends to make theirs cost low. Most individuals have lost their lives because they don't have the required drug to administer to a patient.

Which type of hospital do you prefer for regular check-ups and why?

l prefer a private hospitals because their results are always sure . and whenever I go for my check-ups there is always a doctor on well trained nurses that will attend to you politely .they always have a way of making their patients to be relieved and comfortable when examine and tell the kind of drugs to take. I pray nigeria get better soon.

this is the reason I choose private hospitals for my check-ups.

Have you ever been hospitalized how was your experience?

Yes i was hospitalized for 48 hours and it wasn't easy for me then because the smell of hospital is so choking, and I saw many people with different sickness ,I will never be hospitalized again if you are not strong enough you will be crying all day because so many illnesses.

the doctors and nurses are really trying enough for what they see and touch it is a very strong experience to be hospitalized, before you know someone has immediately ambulance has taken the person to the mog. I sincerely pray for nurses and doctors they are doing a great job. It was a really bad experience to me.
