Hello friends, I hope you all are very well. My post today is about the fish market of Dinajpur Bahadurbazar. Hope you all like my post. A few days ago I visited this market, it is the biggest market in Dinajpur. First of all, there are many fish shops here. Where I went in the morning, when I go there in the morning, I see many types of people who usually bring different kinds of big fish from the village. The people who are fishermen in our country usually go to the river in the morning or they go to different kinds of big ponds where people collect big fish and bring them to this market.

They usually bring the fish through various forms of transpotation. These fishes are brought here and then after bringing here they are called here i.e. the auction is started for the month that the more fishes can be bought by auctioning the fishes but the most visible are the fish sellers who are usually here every day. Those who sell fish buy more of these fish because they will sell these fish here. Because of which they don't want to go far, from here they buy the fish. After I went to the market, I saw some big fish. There are about 50 to 60 fish shops, some of them are very small and some of them are very big. Small fish are usually available in small shops.

From what I have seen, local fish are usually the most available in small shops. And in big shops, big fish are available. Each fish is as big as a small child. It is not only fresh fish that is sold here, but from the sea. A lot of fishes are brought by vehicles. Sea fish demand is highest in our North Bengal because we usually don't see the sea and we don't get to eat sea fish. Due to which the sea fish is very good here, especially the dried sea fish has a good value. In our districts of North Bengal, currently unemployed youths are making a lot of profit by farming fish. And after farming fish, they bring their fish to these big markets to sell them. Here they fetch good prices.

Fresh fish is available here almost daily. After I went there few days ago, I bought some small fish for us to eat, but the fish markets in our country are usually unsanitary because there is no drainage system and because the market is quite big. Time to crowd people in this market. There is a designated area for those who sell fish here but there is a separate area for the big fishmongers who usually sit above the ground with their fish and sell the fish there. In our country today, goods are sold through digital platforms, before fish was sold in traditional way but now it has improved a lot.
