Just like every other day, I went to my shop yesterday morning for my daily business. This has been my routine.
I opened the shop and I noticed everywhere was dusty.
So I did some clean up. A business place needs to be clean. A neat environment attracts good health and customers.
I started my day with much sense of determination, and eager to tackle the repairs and sales ahead.
I mean, this is what I always have in mine every day I come here even though some days could be so negative due to the thoughts of my previous bad day business.
My phone repair business has been a little bit steady, but I've been thinking about ways to reduce overhead costs as it is getting too much. I am planning of expanding my business and investing even more in it. I know, this isn't a day , week or month something, but it could take time.
My activities today
My first customer came in with a cracked screen on his Samsung Galaxy.
I quickly assessed the damage and gave him a quote for the repair. He agreed, and I got to work replacing the screen for him. Phone screen issues are common.
Someday, I will teach the friends here on how to change phone screen. I would have done that on this post, but unfortunately, I didn't take the steps by steps photos.
Next activity was when a stream of customers came in looking for phone accessories. I assisted a few of them to find the perfect earbuds, phone chargers while others were interested in phone headsets and power banks. Talking about power bank, this is the last hope for any Nigerian who loves surfing the net.
During lunch, I began researching solar panel installation for my shop. With the rising cost of petrol in Nigeria, generating my own electricity seems like a wise decision for real. I'm tired of the constant fuel price hikes affecting my bottom line, it's getting too much.
I took a break to explore Steem, a blockchain that yesterday . I actually wanted to make this post that yesterday, but I was too busy in my shop.
But I'm glad I could do this now. Actually, my goal is to share my experiences and expertise while also engaging with like-minded individuals here on Steem.
In summary, yesterday was so productive, but I recognize the need to adapt to changing circumstances too.
The high cost of petrol is a challenge, but solar power offers a solution, I'll soon get a small solar for my shop.
However, I'm grateful for all my loyal customers and the opportunity to grow my business. I am grateful too to belong to a good learning platform like Steem.
Goodnight friends.
Thank you for sharing together here.
