Hi guys, I hope you are doing well because I am today.
I really wanted to mention how my yesterday was in a post. Unfortunately, I was too busy the whole day and I couldn't put up this write up.
However, I would like to share my yesterday's little experience. I hope that could make sense as you read.
In the morning, being a Wednesday, many workers are always headed to their place of work either office work or their shops for their businesses.
So I wasn't left behind, I also left to my shop to work.
I can't remember if I have mentioned but I don't only repair phones and sell accessories, I also charge people's phones, battery and power banks.
So, that morning when I went to my shop, I saw people a lot of people who were already waiting for me, because they wanted to charge their phones.
We don't have constant electricity here, sometimes we have electricity 8 hours in a week. The 8 hours could be two days- that is, 4 hours in day one and another 4 hours for another day.
Not like I am happy for this situation, but the truth is that, I also make money during such days like yesterday.
I usually ON my generator by 10am. Before that 10am , I already had like over 30 people who were waiting for me to charge their phones.
I charge them 100 naira per phone and also 100 naira per power bank, that is 0.26 STEEM.
And in a day, sometimes I do charge up to 100 different phones.
I know that you would think that I am very rich. No I am not. I have other expenditure to cover daily with this money I make.
For instance, I run over 8 litres of petrol every single day in my shop. My generator runs from 10am to 9pm.
And a litre is about 700 naira which is 1.83 STEEM. That means, I spend 14.64 STEEM on petrol every day and 87.84 STEEM every week.
That is 351 STEEM every month and 4,216.32 STEEM every year.
That's more than enough for me to get a solar, wow. As one of the achievements I would like to reach by next year, I hope to be able to buy a small solar that can power my shop to run my business.
During the day time, I changed down board for some of my clients. I already bought some pieces on Monday as you can see in the picture above.
And the picture below shows the bad ones that I changed.
The bad ones was from two different phones
for different customers.
My client was satisfied with my work and she tested the downboard if it's working by charging her phone as you can see above.
After spending many hours fixing phones, I later had few minutes to rest. And my friend Imefon came to visit and we had a selfie.
My everyday life revolves around my shop. And that is how I am living my life to stay out of trouble.
I can only imagine when I could have a vacation, maybe in my next life 😀.
Since that is not possible, I am only trying to make best use of my time, because time is money.
In the future I am planning to accept STEEM in my shop for business transactions.
When I understand the platform the more, I will guide others to join, for now, I am still learning gradually. For instance, I just learn how to power up today.
I already informed few of my friends here who came to charge their phones about STEEM.
I hope we would make a good team in the future.
