Hello everyone, good evening to you all. Welcome back to my blog. In this edition of "I can tell a story" I will be writing a story on "Don't judge a book by its Cover".

Nneoma was a tender and very beautiful girl from a poor home and because of poor nutrition, she looked short and slim. She was 12 years old when one of their relation who stays in the city came and took her to the city to live with an old woman who all her Children resides abroad.

When her relative brought her to the old woman's daughter, the daughter rejected her and said that she was too small and won't be able to cook and take care of their mother. Nneoma's aunty persuaded her and told her not to judge a book by the cover and that Nneoma was equal to the task.

The lady told Nneoma's aunty that she won't hesitate to send Nneoma away if she hears any bad report. To the surprise of everyone, Nneoma exceeded expectation, she took care of the old woman like her own mother. She wakes up every morning cleans the house, cook their meals, remind the old lady to take her daily medications before heading to school.

On coming, she stays in the old lady's shop in front of the house and sell to her customer. She organizes the shop and attends to her customer very well to the extent that the shop was booming.

The old lady loves and adores Nneoma so much, and always sing her praises in front of her children and anyone that cares to listen. As time passed by, the old woman's daughter realized that she would have missed a good person who would take care of their mother by judging by appearance.

Moral lessons

• Never judge people based on their appearance.

• It is good to be good.

• Don't underestimate people's ability by their size.

• Hard work and dedication leads to success, Nneoma's hardworking and diligence leads to the success of the old's woman shop.
