Awesome topic of contest that helping me recalling some good memories from my school life. Those days were golden and never can be bring back. I'm a 90's kid and smartphone when became popular I was in college so unfortunately I don't have any picture of my student life but some group and event photos can be found in school old file records or album.
We had mobile phone for family use and it had no camera but it had antenna and buttons of digits. When I was in University I brought my first smartphone with low quality camera. Anyway, I'm explaining all these things because I've no original photo of my school days but I've some memories that I'm going to share via writing this post.
Since my childhood days I was very excited about going to school and you know what friends I often get ready on weekends to go to school. I wore my school uniform and shoes to go to school and my sister remind me that the day is school off. This is the thing that make me laugh when I'm no longer a school student and adult enough.
I was in love with school and never bunk school when I was in primary school. In high section once bunk school because I was not prepare for a lesson and the teacher could punish hard for that so I got scared and bunk school and that was my first and last. Anyway, let me answer some interesting questions I found in the contest post,
Write about your school life in some paragraphs.
There were three schools I've studied for several issues. Nursery to class four I was in my nearest primary school and stood first in all classes. We were 30-40 students in a class and I had no competitor so I always ranked the top. Later when I changed the school there I had competitors and I got a rank by having a place among top five. Sometimes luckily I got chance to be a captain of the class and tried to lead the class with discipline.
When I was in class five I changed school twice for having no TC from previous school my parents drop me to another school and it was girls' school. I studied there class five to class eight. I changed my school when I promoted to 9th standard and got admission to a reputed school of my city. I stood first in admission test. That was a sweet memory indeed.
I completed my secondary school certificate exam with GPA 4.38 score out of GPA 5. I was not a responsible are serious student those days. My parents expected GPA 5 from me when my efforts were very poor to it. I had funny friends who made fun of teachers and we laughed a lot in the class. We had fun together and shared tiffin of friends. My parents doesn't allow me food from outside so I brought homemade foods in my tiffin.
Was you interested much in school or in extra activities?
As extra curriculum activity I did practice and perform physical training till 8th standard, after that I focused on my exams that could help me pass the school and get into the college. When I was in primary school I took part in singing and reciting competitions and won some usual prizes which was not big achievement but source of a lots of joy. I was not very much active in extra curriculum activities but I had some good memories as I took part in some of extra activities.
What did you learn from school life?
I've learned that you never can get loyal friends in life as you get one or few in school life. Some of my school life friends are like my siblings and they helped and support me a lot when I was in need. Later in college and university I got friends for benefit and here everyone was self centered and busy with their self interest. A very few were selfless but they were rare and lost them shortly as they get into some other subject and we apart from each other. My school life friends are connected in social media and I often can check their activities there.
School taught me manners, disciplines, friendship, love, attraction, care, respect, humor and many more things. School was my first institution of learning basic things. Teachers helped me learning counting, detecting, observing, judging good and bad, sharing ideas and adopting ideas that necessary. School was the root of my learning stage and it will be always the best contributor behind being a good human for the world and society.
What was your position in the class?
I think I've already discussed it above but one more time let me talk about it. I was a topper in primary school, an average from 6th to 8th standard like I ranked among top 5. Next I become a back bencher in 9th and 10th standard because I changed the school and became irresponsible to my study as a result I couldn't rank the top GPA 5. Honestly I've no regret because I didn't study that hard and the result I achieve was more than my efforts actually.
I really enjoyed recalling school days memories and tried to share some memories with you. We had a good life at that time and today's life is completely different to school life. At that time there was one bitter thing and that was exam, I was very nervous and sick when exam started knocking our door. I was serious student during my exam time and that could be the reason behind my never failure in board exam and I have no break in my study thankfully.
Hope you all enjoyed reading my school life memories or experiences. You may experienced a better school life, feel free to share by joining this awesome contest.
