How are you guys doing today? I have been studying throughout the day because my exams are close by and I need to pass them. This contest will be ending soon and I really need to he quick with my entry. I have seen alot of entries from steemians and I feel I shouldn't be left out. @saintkelvin17 thanks for organizing this amazing and lively contest.
Citizenship can simply be defined as the relationship that has to do with the affairs of the people in a particular country, this is something that's common in so many countries around the world. Am a citizen of my country Nigeria and am involved in this relationship. Alot of things has been happening all the world as people now gain citizenship from another country through different means.
There are so many ways to be a full citizen of a country, we have the process of birth whereby alot of people became citizens of their country through this process.
We have the Citizenship by marriage, in this process alot of people get married to someone from a different country most especially well to do countries and they automatically become citizens of that country as long as they are willing to accept it. Alot of people who went to big countries to seek for greener pastures ended up falling in love and getting married to a citizen of the country they decided to go to. This is very common in USA and Canada.
Citizens of a country have so many duties they must stick to in other to be able to have peace and harmony while residing in their country and these duties are;
Voting during elections: We are all expected to participate actively in things concerning elections because is up to us to put in a good leader as our president that can help us to enjoy staying in the country to the fullest.
Obeying traffic regulations: Is very important for citizens of every country to always obey the traffic regulations there because they were brought in just to make life easier for us all. I will say that alot of people have involved themselves in accidents because they didn't obey these rules.
Paying tax: Is very important for citizens to also pay their tax because it is one of the things that keeps the country in a good state. The government needs our tax in other to make the country comfortable for us. Nigerians pay taxes but we are still uncomfortable unlike other countries that are living a comfortable life after paying their taxes.
We become steemians after we have gotten our achievement 1 verified but there's a legacy that we no longer become steemians if we are not active in steemit and this isn't good as we are all expected to be active after our achievement 1 has been verified. There are steemians who also like breaking rules in this platform and most times is like they are doing it on purpose because I don't see any reason why somebody will be breaking the same rule almost every month. When becomes a real steemian when this person is very active in the platform and always do the right thing.

Just think how the world would have been if citizenship was the same all over. That would definitely simplify a lot of things! I know my son in Ireland would have enjoyed it.
If citizenship were uniform globally, it could lead to greater mobility, reduced barriers to travel, and easier access to rights and resources. It might foster a stronger sense of global community, too. Umh... maybe something the world can learn from Steemit.(•ิ‿•ิ)
