The Interview Showcase #80 - Exclusive Talk With a Ukrainian blogger

in hive-111300 •  11 months ago

Hello people of Steem,

Welcome to the 80th edition - the "Big 80" of “The interview showcase...." and my 4th show for 2024.

If you are new to this page, this lifestyle program has many educational values. A weekly interview of users in the blog concerning some trending topics on the Steemit platform. And tips that can help other Steemians to progress positively and help boost the Steem’s growth.

It will help you to get to know more about Steemians around the globe and even Steem and Steemit itself.

I take time to look at some of the most important topics in the blockchain and have a chat/call with Steemians who have a greater idea about those topics.

They also share some tips that can help other users understand the blockchain and correctly use it. Sometimes they seek valuable suggestions here to help them solve some of their challenges.

This week show, featured a Ukrainian devoted user who has proven her creativity within her short stay in the platform. And it's actually a beautiful thing to see her work alongside and support her husband here on the platform. This should have been a couple interview series, but due to some busy schedule, I couldn't make that happen. However, I'm glad @mariam.dariam is here as my guest while her husband @o1eh is also here to support her 😃, that's what a loving family do.

@mariam.dariam

Ubongudofot
: Hello Mariam, it's nice to have you on my Interview Show case today, how will you describe your yourself to other users?

🔶Mariam : Hello, I am very glad that you invited me. It was a real surprise for me. I am an elementary school teacher. Previously, I worked with young children in a private institution focused on early development. But since the birth of my daughter, I have been a housewife. However, in a year or two, I plan to continue my career. My hobby is cooking. I like to cook in the kitchen, I like to experiment and try new recipes..

Ubongudofot
: How old are you in steemit? And how will you describe steemit transition since you joined?

🔶Mariam : I've been on Steemit for a year and a half. I spend more time in the Ukrainian community. During this time, it has grown, there have been more authors, and the curatorial account has significantly strengthened. So I think Steemit is growing very well.

Ubongudofot
: What has been your biggest achievement on steemit?

🔶Mariam : My biggest achievement on Steemit is that I recently became a dolphin. This achievement was not easy for me, as I had to do a partial Power Down once on the way to the dolphin.

Ubongudofot
: Who is your biggest inspiration in life?

🔶Mariam : My biggest inspiration in life is my family. Everything I do, I do for them. We support each other, overcome difficulties together, enjoy victories together.

Ubongudofot
: Recently, you were supported by pennsif through his delegation, what does that teach you about humanity?

🔶Mariam : The delegation of such a large amount from @pennsif was a real Christmas surprise for me. I have no idea why he chose me, but I am very grateful to him. We, Ukrainians, found ourselves in a very difficult situation, which I would not wish on anyone. We are forced to ask the whole world for something. It has been going on for two years and I understand that many people are fed up with it. At the same time, I see how we are supported here at Steemit. I've read hundreds of comments of support, we get curator votes even if we're out of clubs. @pennsif's gesture is a demonstration that we humans are still human. Someday, we Ukrainians will be able to support those who are in trouble in the same way..

Ubongudofot
: How do you use this support?

🔶Mariam : I used the additional power to support the authors of the Ukrainian community. I try to support all Ukrainian authors, without exception, because I understand that every penny is important for us now. In addition, it is a contribution to the development of the community. The more successful communities on Steemit, the more successful this platform will be.

Ubongudofot
: If you were to visit Africa which country will you like to visit and how long will you want to stay?

🔶Mariam : Unfortunately, we know little about African countries. Before the war, one of the most popular tourist destinations was Egypt. Many of my friends have tried it, so probably I would also stay in this country for at least a week.

Ubongudofot
: As a married woman , constant blogger, a mother, how do you balance your daily activities while still carrying out your duties in these capacities?

🔶Mariam : I only blog in my spare time. My husband helps me with everything, so I am not alone with my dutie.

Ubongudofot
: What do you like doing in your leisure?

🔶Mariam : In my free time, I like to bake something, try new recipes. For me, cooking is not only a duty, but also a hobby. It was because of this hobby that I joined Steemit. At first, I exclusively shared recipes on my blog, later I started writing about other events in my life.

Ubongudofot
: Which Ukrainian music was popular when you were a kid?

🔶Mariam : When I was a child, a very popular song was "Red Ruta", the author of which is Volodymr Ivasiuk. It was then performed by the singer Sofia Rotaru.

Ubongudofot
: Have you heard any Nigerian song before?

🔶Mariam : No, I did not have such an opportunity.

Ubongudofot
: Alright, here we go.

Ubongudofot
: What is your favourite pet?

🔶Mariam : We have many animals: two dogs, a cat, two parrots and fish in an aquarium. I've never thought about which animal is my favorite, but I think it's cats.

Ubongudofot
: Whats your future plans about steemit?

🔶Mariam : Under the current conditions in our country, it is very difficult to plan something for the future. I would like to continue my growth on the platform and catch at least a few more dolphins, but I don't know if it will work out.

Ubongudofot
: You are doing great in the platform, what advice will you tell other users in your country to make such great progress?

🔶Mariam : The secret is very simple. You need to write about what you like. Write so that it is interesting to read. You need to be confident and consistently add content.

Ubongudofot
: Which user will you like me to interview in my show and why?

🔶Mariam : I would be interested to read an interview with our active Ukrainian author and poet @tinochka2.

Ubongudofot
: If you were to turn back the hands of time, what would you restore?

🔶Mariam : I think everything that happened in my life happened for the best. I probably wouldn't change anything. Thanks for the great conversation. Your questions got me thinking. I wish you a peaceful and happy life, full of love and home comfort.

Ubongudofot
: What is your favorite food?

🔶Mariam : I love chicken and stewed vegetables. And I love pizza!

Ubongudofot
: What was your most embarrassing moment in life?

🔶Mariam : I still remember how, at the age of 16, I performed on stage at school and forgot the words from excitement. In general, I don't like to perform and I don't like to be in the center of attention. Having forgotten the words, I felt all these numerous looks of the audience on me and I was indescribably ashamed.

Ubongudofot
: Do you have any message to the steemit team..?

🔶Mariam : I think they are doing everything right. I wish them to continue to support as many good authors as possible across the platform. It seems to me that this gives the greatest effect of engagement.

Ubongudofot
: What can you say about the Interview Showcase, do you think it is interesting and should be continued?

🔶Mariam : I believe that your interviews give us an opportunity to learn more about who is who in the community. Behind each nickname hides a personality with its preferences, problems and skills. This is probably the most interesting thing you can find on Steemit right now. You should definitely continue.

Ubongudofot
: Thanks Mariam, It was nice to have you on my show and I hope we could do this again in the future.🤝

Thank you for this wonderful interview. Your attention to me was very pleasant and unexpected.

It is immediately obvious that you are an experienced journalist. Your questions are interesting and apt, and some of them made me think and analyze myself.

Your interviews allow all of us not to forget that Steemit does not consist of accounts, but of living people with their fates, problems and joys. When you know who is hiding behind a nickname, what this person writes is perceived in a completely different way. You understand the circumstances in which the described events take place, the people who participate in them, it is more clear what exactly is happening.

I wish you not to stop at the 80th interview, nor at the 100th, nor at the 1000th. Do what you do because it's great.

You are most welcome. I am glad to even know more about you through show. Thank you very much for all your commendations. You have turn out to be one interesting user with interesting contents.

I hope to have you again on my show in the future.

The Interview Showcase would still continue even after the 100th edition..., hopefully, all users here would be featured on the show.

Do have a beautiful day ahead!

Congratulations!

Thanks @ubongudofot, it was interesting to read an interview with someone I know so well in real life😁. Still, I learned something new, for example, that cats are her favorite animals🤔.

By the way, I liked the song and clip of the Nigerian singer that you showed us.

It's great that you keep posting your interviews. It's a breath of fresh air.

Thank you so much. It was great to feature your spouse.

Sorry for the late response, I've been battling with health these few days.

Well, it's super nice of you to say things like this. However, I doubt if anyone would be interested to know about me. I mean, not many people know me here. But I'm thankful for the gesture.

Please don't apologize. I hope you are doing better now. Wishing you prosperity and health.

Ofcourse, users would like to know about you, after all, you are among the people of Steem.
