She is just 5 months old in the platform but has taken this time to explore some important areas on Steem and her network is rich with experienced Steemians.

: Hi Maan, welcome to the Interview showcase...How will you describe yourself to the community?

🔶soulfuldreamer: Thank you so much for inviting me. Pleasure is mine really. Hmm... Well, tackling this question is always a bit of a head-scratcher. In my introductory post, I seriously struggled to find the perfect words. I'm a very simple person, yet highly expressive. I enjoy making friends, preferring a few but quality connections. I appreciate engaging with people beyond the surface level; although I used to employ #connect fervently, that seems to have changed. And yes, I do like to dress up now and then.I'm a mother to three amazing kids, having married my school days sweetheart. So yeah I think I am also a romantic one 😉.

: You join, not quite long ago and already making some good progress, how would you describe your experience on Steemit so far?

🔶soulfuldreamer: Have I 😄?... Yes, I think so, I've made some progress. To be honest, I'm still in the learning phase, gaining insights from each one of you. I'm continually surprised and amazed by the creative and awesome posts.

So far, the experience has been good, though there have been both good and bad days. There were moments of deep contemplation, rethinking things said, and perhaps, I may not be as thick-skinned as I should be. I am easily affected. While I don't react impulsively, I attempt to view situations from different perspectives. Yet, I do get a little hurt; perhaps because I write not just for the sake of writing, but I get carried away when I see things that inspire me. Does that make any sense? Maybe this describes who I am.

And perhaps, the Steemverse is like this. In the realm of written conversation versus other forms, sometimes things said have a different intent than being understood. I've explored this idea in one of my posts, suggesting that maybe this is the beauty of written conversation, albeit not always so beautiful. My followers may recognize which post I'm referring to, although I don't have many followers. So yeah

: You write a lot of great contents on lifestyle and your blog is always entertaining with thought provoking publications, will you want to tell me why you choose this as your niche?

🔶soulfuldreamer: Lifestyle – yes, I have recently started writing under this tag. Why did I choose this? Well, because I'm an active member of my real community, and there are always events that I'm a part of, one way or another. So, I thought, why not bring that aspect to Steemit.

And being a mother, most days are filled with happenings. I'm delighted that you read my content before asking this question. The other day, I wrote about the experience of my daughter in her math exam. So naturally, I'm more inclined towards such posts.

As for the thought-provoking aspect, well, I'm not much of a sage, really. It's just that you keep learning things as life happens. I really don't understand the criteria for labeling people as experienced or experts. I have come across so many people in my life who have given me insightful perspectives on life, and they were apparently not the wise kind. It's all about perspective.

Nevertheless, I'm very happy that you find my posts thought-provoking. I'm not downplaying or anything. I just can't see myself as someone from this category. I think everyone is wise in their own way. It's just the circumstances that are not very wise sometimes.

: Most of your contents are good reads. Do you mind outlining some steps you take before publishing any content here?

🔶soulfuldreamer: Mostly, I go with the flow. But when I'm writing for an engagement challenge, I thoroughly study the assignment, collecting all the relevant information, especially for crypto-related posts. I do a lot of homework for those ones. Afterward, I create a rough draft before writing the actual post.Most of the time, it's more about "going with the flow.".

: What is the weakest or disturbing thing about Steemit?

🔶soulfuldreamer: Really? You want me to answer this! Well I believe I haven't spent enough time on this platform to answer this question efficiently. However, the current glitches and lapses are definitely disturbing, especially for newcomers and in the context of nested/threaded conversations.

Another aspect that I find a bit unfair is that content is often weighed based on the "rank of the author," their influence on the platform, especially in engagement challenges. It's not that I'm complaining because I didn't win, but the primary focus should be on content quality. Sure, there could be extra points for belonging to a certain club and the like, but the main agenda should revolve around the content itself. That's my perspective. Thinking outside the box and creating something different should always be appreciated.

I want to clarify that my opinion is not influenced by any personal treatment I may have received. I do observe outstanding posts given much less value than others, and upon closer inspection, it often seems to favor the "usual ones."

This question is going to put me in a bit of trouble, but I can't be diplomatic here. Of course, this is just my perception, and others may disagree.

: If you were a developer, what few things could you like to improve or change on the Steemit platform?

🔶soulfuldreamer: I don't know a thing about being a developer, so I will pass on this one.

: Recently, STEEM has been making some great moves. In your opinion, how far away are we from hitting $1 per STEEM?

🔶soulfuldreamer: Again I am clueless but the internet says maybe never. I really don't know. It's good that Steem is making good progress, along with other cryptocurrencies.

: Globally, the world is facing hard times. If you were to advice fellow Steemians here what would you encourage them to invest on and why?

🔶soulfuldreamer: Asked my dear husband for his opinion, and he says, "Property and gold have always been the safest choices." So if you believe him.

: What's your most embarrassing moment in life?

🔶soulfuldreamer: I wish that it never comes, but the most embarrassing moment in my life, I believe, has yet to come. There are many moments that I wished never happened, but they are not that embarrassing.

: You appear to consistently have a glass-half-full attitude. Where does your positivity (or, perhaps, inspiration) come from?

🔶soulfuldreamer: Oh no, I do whine now and then. Ask my family and husband😀.But yes, I'm really grateful for the life that I have. I can't think of a single thing to change if I were given a choice. I'm ever so grateful to Allah Almighty for all His blessings.

But I have full-on tantrum days... I'm not that kind of person you know, what you might call serene or whatever you are implying 😎

: What's your biggest pet peeve?

🔶soulfuldreamer: You won't believe, but I get irritated when someone doesn't wipe the floor of the bathroom dry after taking a shower.Well there is one more: when someone comes into my home and doesn't bother to take off their shoes at the entrance, especially in my room. I have to remind my husband daily to change his shoes at the entrance. Despite daily reminders, he seems to forget. Having said that, I never make a big deal out of it. Okay, sometimes, but I let it go most of the time.

: Whose Steemit blog are you most entertained by and why?**

🔶soulfuldreamer: I like @o1eh's posts. I also nominated him for the best writer. And then there are so many, like @event-horizon and @the-gorilla. I don't understand his developer's posts much, but when he writes about his kids, it's very entertaining and worth a read. I like @chriddi's sheep posts also. Why? Because they are interesting to read. Sometimes I think everyone writes better than me.

: Where is the most interesting place you have ever travelled to in the world?

🔶soulfuldreamer: I have not traveled abroad yet. I would not say interesting, but I would re-phrase as the most beautiful place. It is Skardu for me. I may write a travel blog about it one day and will make sure to tag you. I loved every minute spent there. It is a hilly area with the most beautiful waterfalls and lakes. It's like a gateway to heaven.
