The Interview Showcase #97 - Exclusive Talk with A Nigerian teacher/blogger

in hive-111300 •  6 months ago  (edited)

Hello people of Steem and Steemit,

It's a new week, welcome to the 97th edition of “The interview showcase...." and my 21st show for 2024.

If you are new to this page, this lifestyle program has many educational values. A weekly interview of users in the blog concerning some trending topics on the Steemit platform. And tips that can help other Steemians to progress positively and help boost the Steem’s growth.

It will help you to get to know more about Steemians around the globe and even Steem and Steemit itself.

I take time to look at some of the most important topics in the blockchain and have a chat/call with Steemians who have a greater idea about those topics.

They also share some tips that can help other users understand the blockchain and correctly use it. Sometimes they seek valuable suggestions here to help them solve some of their challenges.

On this week's show, I would be talking with a teacher and blogger from Nigeria in the person of @okere-blessing.

Ubongudofot
: How will you describe yourself in one sentence?

🔶Okere-blessing : Thank you very much for this opportunity. I'm so grateful to join this interview session. I'm Okere Blessing Akubueze. Popular known on steemit as @okere-blessing. I'm a kind hearted person, I help a lot and I'm committed to achieving my goal despite any obstacles.

Ubongudofot
: How did you hear about Steemit and why did you join?

🔶Okere-blessing : I heard about steemit from a friend during our women's meeting, she directed me to @chichieze who help me to understand and I was convinced to join

Ubongudofot
: What can you say about your experience so far in the blog?

🔶Okere-blessing : I must say it has not been rosy , but I have been able to gain so many experiences since I joined. I came in as a novice but today I have been able to know so many things about steem blockchain. With the help of my work as a moderator in two communities.

Ubongudofot
: As a moderator in Steem4Nigeria community , how do you run the community couple with your personal life affairs?

🔶Okere-blessing : It's not easy especially been a wife and mother. But since I'm an administrator I have been able to divide my time for offline duties and online duties. I have also choose the days that I feel it's less busy for me to enable me work effectively in the community.

Ubongudofot
: In your community, how many users are with the functional keys of operation?

🔶Okere-blessing : Since the community is not owned or managed by one person . There are more than one person that we can hold accountable for the keys. Probably two persons the Admin and the lead MOD.

In my community @xkool24 and @ruthjoe have the main keys while other moderators have the posting key.

Ubongudofot
: As a Nigerian and someone living in Uyo, which of the project done by @ubongudofot is fake or to enrich himself? He needs to be expose of all his rug-pull activities

🔶Okere-blessing : I'm shock to hear you mention fake here, I have known you from steemit to be an exemplary leader, I have been hearing about all your projects of which I keyed into them, the locations where your projects are located are not in the moon where we can not reach easily. If anyone feels it's fake they can go see for themselves. I think the locations are clearly on your blog, They are not fake projects.

Ubongudofot
: Presently, I am running a solar project in Nigeria and potentially other African countries, called "Steem lighting Africa", do you think it is something you and your country users can support?

🔶Okere-blessing : I admire your sense of humor. You are always at the right time to deliver what is necessary for mankind. Presently this project is a good one and we are solely behind you. Personally I'm with you on this project.

Ubongudofot
: Thank you, you can start by setting percentage to @steemelectricals account and using the #steemelectric hashtag.

Ubongudofot
: What have you put in place in other to fight plagiarism in your community as a moderator?

🔶Okere-blessing : We the steem4nigeria community frowns against plagiarism. It is a capital offense that we doesn't take lightly especially when we have issued a warning to any offender. Before I verify any post in the community I scrutinize and check properly to be sure is plagiarism free. We also have a special squad in charge of checking plagiarism in the community.

Ubongudofot
: Who is your biggest inspiration in life?

🔶Okere-blessing : The only inspiration that matters to me is the one I give myself. But then people who are sincere and hardworking inspires me alot.

Ubongudofot
: What's your future plans about steemit?

🔶Okere-blessing : I hold steemit in a very high esteem and I desire to stay long. My plans is to accumulate a reasonable Steem power that will help me support ordinary users. I'm planning to become a curator one day.

Ubongudofot
: Whose Steemit blog are you most entertained by?

🔶Okere-blessing : I have so many, goodybest ,Ngoenyi and wilmer1988 , these users has entertaining contents

Ubongudofot
: Other than all of your efforts in the steemit platform, what do you do for fun?

🔶Okere-blessing : To be frank steemit takes all my time the most, but I like listening to classical music and sometimes joke with friends.

Ubongudofot
: If you were to travel out of your country now...where will you like to visit?

🔶Okere-blessing : I would like to travel to Dubai.

Ubongudofot
: What will you describe as a "beg for vote content"..? Do you think there are more "beg for vote" contents than creative publications in the blog?

🔶Okere-blessing : Sir , it's a pity how some users beg for vote, I detest it and I try to avoid it, I can only speak for myself, I work hard to create content,I don't beg for vote. Many at times my post pays out little or nothing. But I'm certain that I have passed a message across through my post.

Ubongudofot
: What advice will you like to give other steemians who are also working hard to increase their growth?

🔶Okere-blessing : So many users are not been noticed, I always advise those close to me to be consistent and original. There's nothing good that comes easy. I will always advise everyone to be active, steadfast and passionate about blogging on steemit. Rewards here is better than doing nothing.

Ubongudofot
: Do you like music, and what is your kind of music?

🔶Okere-blessing : I like music alot, ranging from classical to hip up.

Ubongudofot
: Let me play one of my favourite track ..., and this one is coming from my biggest and all time buddy. - Akon

Ubongudofot
: If there was something you could undo- what would it be?

🔶Okere-blessing : Undo? If is on steemit I will undo the whales votes to be guaranteed to every content creator.Another thing I will wish to undo is sickness, jealousy and death.

Ubongudofot
: What message or suggestions do you have for the steemit team?

🔶Okere-blessing : I will like to suggestion more flexibility in choosing curators. There are more qualified and hardworking Steemians who can do well in curating post but their steempower is not up to.

I will also suggest that they give rooms for complaints and suggestions which they should reply accordingly.

Ubongudofot
: Now you have the chance to apply with low SP as 5000..., and complaints require patience...

Ubongudofot
: Which user or users will you like me to feature in my show?

🔶Okere-blessing : I will like you to feature @bossj23.

Ubongudofot
: What can you say about the Interview showcase?

🔶Okere-blessing : When you went on break I was always hanging around your blog, this interview session is something I wish should be supported, it has helped so many to know what steemit is all about ,from there we get to see steemians faces and what they have to say. I love the initiative keep it up and thank you very much for inviting me today. Have a great day.
