"My Experience During The COVID-19 Lockdown"

Hello everyone, it's been such a day but I'm glad we all made it through the hurdles and struggle of today, I believe we are all doing fine?

The covid-19 pandemic which took place some years back I believe left everyone with their experiences, both good bad ugly and beautiful ones. The outburst of the pandemic brought mixed feelings as to if one would survive or not.

Surviving during the COVID-19 pandemic era is what I'll tag "survival of the fittest". The deadly disease showed no respect to any social class as everyone in one way or the other was affected immensely.

I wasn't left out in the fear which covered more than 90% citizens in the world. The thought of contacting this deadly disease was so intensed that I became so scared of going close to my loved ones.

Hunger didn't really have a major effect on me because my parents made sure they bore the pains of ensuring I had food on the table, they felt the whole pain and all I could do was pity them and wished for everything to normalize as soon as possible.

Boredom I will say wasn't really felt too, we had a full house and electricity did really try for us in a way so my siblings, phone and television played a major role as we experienced a lovely family time and I couldn't have asked for a better company.

For ways I prevented the covid-19 virus were:

• I observed social distancing

• I developed the habit of regular washing of my hands and applying a hand sanitizer

• Nose mask became part of my everyday attire

• I avoided crowded places.

To God be the glory, none of my family members or friends which I'm aware of contacted the deadly pandemic.

In as much as the ebola virus was scary and deadly and frustrating, I will say COVID-19 was more frustrating because movements were restricted, schools, church, mosques and businesses were all put on hold for quiet a long time and a greater number of deaths were recorded during this period.
