Hi steemians,
I'm @wasa2020
From Nigeria.
I want to share my participation in the contest organized by @cryptoloover in this community. Today I will be sharing the contest titled "Your views about support in the Engagement challenges. This topic is very nice and I believe many people will like it too.
As it is in my custom, I will like to invite @drhira, @jueco, and @bossj23 to also be a part of this contest in the community. I'm sure you too will find it interesting just like me.
How much votes do you receive from steemcurators in engagement contests on average?
When it comes to the engagement contest, I don't always expect any vote from the Steemcurators 01 or 02 because as a newbie I know it will be difficult to gain much recognition. I write most time for fun and the love I have for the topic.
Though I have been lucky a couple of times and I see votes from the steemcurator09 and other Steemcurator accounts. On average I can say I out of 10, I get at least 6 upvotes from the Steemcurators account.
For the past 2 weeks, I have attempted an engagement challenge by writing about 3 topics each week, I got one vote each from the weeks from Steemcurator 01 and 02. So I don't participate much but I'm grateful for the support.
Do you satisfied with the support that you get from team?
Yes, I'm satisfied. Ordinarily, I will want that support every day on my post because anyway I see the support from any of the Steemcurators accounts be it 01 or 02 or the smaller curators, I feel so happy.
So as a person, I will want to see it every day. But I also know that I'm not the only writer on the platform hence when I see it I know it's my lucky day then I will smile very well. So in summary I'm happy with the support since it comes at least once in a while.
What are some tips that newcomers can follow to get good support?
For me, the only way the newcomers can get good support is to create quality articles and also use the #newcomer tag always for the period assigned.
We have a newcomer team that helps us to make our posts more visible by selecting them hence if we produce quality posts they can pick our posts and we will in turn get good support.
To create a good post, I advise you to develop the habit of reading other people's posts. What has made me improve is the time I dedicate to reading the post of those I have considered my mentors. I get good ideas from their publications and that helps me well when I'm writing mine.
If you have any suggestions for Steemit team then share it here.
I don't know much about how the steemit team operates. But in terms of support, I will suggest that more ways to support users should be provided. I'm aware of the many people coming into the platform as I can see from the newcomer community.
It will be great if a support system will be added to the already existing one so that many more people can get support from the team. In doing so, I believe many people which we don't expect will also join because of the help rendered.
