Because having an experience is one thing, and sharing that moment with someone, or others, is another thing.
Hello fellow steemians. Hope we all are doing great today. I feel excited having to spend the last day in the month of November in a grand style.
I woke up perceiving Christmas already. I picked up the phone to see that we were just a few hours away from entering into the next and last month of the year.
I had already planned to attend about three events today, so I made sure I was fully prepared for all three events adequately.
I started with saying my prayers for the day. Started my chores by folding my clothes. And yes, staying in the hostel has made life both enjoyable, and a bit tough. To be honest, the hostel is where you learn more about life that home cannot teach or really offer.
Folding clothes
Laundry done
After folding my clothes, I stepped out to do some laundry. This did not take long. I just wanted to make sure I was prepared for church the next day.
Right after that, I began to arrange my corner before stepping out to face what the day had for me.
Before I left for the first event, I took some pictures. These days, I doubt if anyone goes anywhere without taking pictures to create memories. Plus, Steemit has taught me to do more of that.
Before the event.
It was LinkedIn Local—Uyo, and it was an amazing opportunity for me to meet and connect with people in my state who are also content creators on LinkedIn.
The event started quite late as opposed to what time it was scheduled for, so I had to wait for some minutes for it to start properly. Meeting with people is not just for the sake of merriment.
When you connect with great minds, that’s the first fun that stands out for me. I think that anyone who can add to what I have, intellectually or mentally, is the essence of any good connection with him/her.
One of the speakers in the LinkedIn event spoke on "Privacy and Reality."
Most content creators for the sake of making a name, and being known, have no privacy. The sad part of this is that the internet never forgets. The privacy we think we have has been taken away from us whether consciously or subconsciously.
After the event.
Therefore, to be authentic (real) while maintaining our privacy, we must be deliberate on how we put ourselves out there. Content creation in any form should not risk our privacy.
From the event, I went back to the hostel to prepare for Steemit national meetup, here in Uyo.
I want to take the time to thank @saintkelvin17 to encouraging me to attend the meet-up. I got to meet with people like @eliany, @patudoh and the others for the first time. Also, I met with @bela90, @oker-blessing, @ngoenyi, @goodybest, @chiomi again. I wouldn’t fail to mention my namey, @uduak32787 who was present at the event.
Although we got there very late, it was nice getting with everybody again, physically.
I got to the hostel a bit late and had to join in for the third event on the road. The meeting dealt on Authentic Discipleship, and it was another moment to learn about one’s faith.
Dinner
The day was long for me, and I rushed out to get spaghetti for dinner.
I did a few more work in my corner before collapsing on my bed.
It was a bit stressful, but I enjoyed every bit of it.
This is how my day went.
How did yours go?
