Human imagination is a boundless realm where the mind roams freely, conjuring scenarios both extraordinary and mundane. From the whimsical to the profound, our thoughts traverse a vast spectrum of possibilities, weaving intricate tapestries of imagination. It is a testament to the boundless ingenuity of the human spirit, a beacon of hope amidst the tumult of existence.

Do you imagine alot? Why do you think God gave human beings the ability to imagine?

Do I imagine a lot? Yes, certainly and sometimes, when I have profound thoughts, I wonder why we imagine so fervently and what drives this innate urge. I feel that if we didn’t have this superpower, we’d have existed as robots waiting for some high command to execute or prompts to create scenarios with. Pretty basic and boring, if you ask me.

Imagination is the catalyst for human creativity, fueling our relentless quest for understanding and self-expression, and I think that is why God gave us the ability to imagine. With our imaginations, we envision alternate realities and contemplate the improbable, push the boundaries of what is conceivable, lay the groundwork for scientific discoveries, artistic masterpieces and technological advancements. If God hadn’t given us this ability, I think we’d barely have accomplished anything.

Tell us the most impossible thing you have ever imagined and what led to such imagination?

When I step into the realm of imagination, the line between the possible and the impossible blurs and I barely know the difference. I’m just in my own world where everything is possible and I can come up with scenarios that are fit only for some children bedtime storybook or cartoon or fictional writing. I remember once, during the corona virus lockdown, few days after watching “World War Z”, when I was bored out of my wits and only had entertainment from my thoughts, I imagined a zombie apocalypse happening in Nigeria. I imagined the virus transforming people into ravenous zombies, with the religious people “binding and casting” the zombies from the “pits of hell”, the chaos and desperation that’d ensue when they didn’t seem to be going anywhere but were spreading even more.

I thought of how the government would probably be telling us that they have it under control even though they had no idea on how to contain the outbreak. That would have been a crazy situation. Definitely impossible too because I don’t think zombies can ever exist. That should be one, if not the most impossible thing I have ever imagined.

What's the weirdest thing you have ever imagined either intentionally or unintentionally? Please enlighten us.

The weirdest imaginings often lurk in the shadows of our minds, waiting to be unearthed. These musings could be intentionally conjured or arise spontaneously. I can’t recall if it was intentional or not, but as far as I can tell, the weirdest thing I have ever imagined should be envisioning a world where gravity fluctuates at whim and we can all stand on the ocean bed without floating or struggling to breathe naturally. I’m a cartoon lover and I pictured myself going to the Pacific Ocean to find Bikini Bottom and to specifically find SpongeBob’s neighborhood. Imagine actually finding Bikini Bottom and realizing that it wasn’t only SpongeBob and the other characters in the cartoon that lived there, but that other characters from all the cartoons that have ever existed lived there too and it’s really a “Cartoon World” down there.

I’d definitely want to meet up with each of them, not minding how long it takes, ask them some questions that have really bothered me on why they acted how they did in the cartoons I watched despite what was done to them. For instance, I’d have asked Squidward why he didn’t just quit from the Krusty Krabs since he complained about everything about it, and gone to a music academy where he could learn how to play harmonious music on his clarinet and make money out of playing that instead. Yes, it’s really weird.

What will you do if your consistent and best imagination comes true? Do you think it will come true?

What would I do if my consistent and best imagination comes true? The possibilities of what I would do if it comes to fruition are as limitless as the expanse of the cosmos. It strikes me that my best imagination is a personal goal and I believe that it is possible for it to come to reality. If it does, I’ll definitely put in more effort, hardwork and determination because I can’t expect it to expand or be of help to those around me if I just slack off and think of achieved it all. History itself is replete with examples of dreams-turned-reality, fueled by the unwavering determination and ingenuity of visionaries. You just have to dare to dream.
