Exercise is the physical activity that is done in order to become stronger and healthier or a particular movement or series of movements done to become stronger and healthier. The central idea here is that exercise helps one to be strong, active and health (exercise reduces the risk of many health issues). Having said that, let's look at some benefits of exercise in the body.

Regular exercise helps in heart health. Possible benefits include; reducing the risk of stroke, reducing the risk of cardiovascular diseases, reducing the risk of heart attacks and heart diseases. It also helps in improving cholesterol levels in the body
Helps in building and strengthening muscles.Weight-bearing exercise helps build strong muscles, which is particularly important.
Helps in maintaining moderate weights. A good exercise maintains weight over time, although it may take more than the recommended amount to do so. That is the reason fat/obese people do regular exercise in order to lose and maintain normal weight.
Improves bone health. Bone density lost called osteoporosis can be prevented by regular exercise.Osteoporosis is a condition in which the bones become weak and break easily occuring mostly in older women and is characterized by decrease in bone mass with decreased density.
Helps prevents falls for older adults. Aerobic exercise includes balance training, or muscle strengthening, can help decrease both the risk of falls and the risk of injury from falls in older adults.
Improves brain function and reduces risk of dementia. And also improves the efficiency of bain by making a reader to remember well .

Balance exercises
In this exercise,it helps one in preventing falls and these are especially useful in older people. The special type of exercises like ‘tai chi’ and yoga are examples of balance exercises. Lift one leg with bent knees as high as you can or until your thighs are parallel to the floor etc.

These exercises can be called resistance training exercises.It entails strengthening the muscles. These exercises make you feel confident in carrying out simple activities, like gardening and carrying groceries . It also helps in weight control, bone growth etc.

These exercises make it easier for one's joints to move in all possible directions. Also make it easier for stretching the muscles.
Endurance exercises
These physical activities made up endurance exercises. They are Brisk walking, dancing, cycling, swimming, jogging basketball etc
These exercises are also called aerobics or cardio exercises. These involve exercises that increase your heart rate and breathing. The benefits are: lower risk of diseases like colon cancer and breast cancer. It improves the efficiency of circulatory system .
It is very good to know that Cardio training (aerobic and anaerobic), is probably the most popular type of exercise . Cardio is also one area of exercise that offers limitless kinds of workouts: walking, running, cycling, cross-country skiing, swimming, dancing, etc. One can generally say that anything that elevates the heart rate to a level above resting heart rate is cardio.
